Have just enjoyed another excellent meal in The Port Hotel. Portrush has a few good eating places but for friendly service, comfortable atmosphere and good food, the Port Hotel is right up there with the best. Myself and my partner were shown to a table by the waiter and took our drinks order straight away which arrived almost instantly because of the fancy new computer ordering they have. After looking at the menu I opted for the prawn cocktail while my partner had the buffalo wings. Both were tasty and set us up for the main course. I had the lasagne with garlic fries while he had the sirloin steak with chips and pepper sauce. Both mains were delicious. My partner stated that his steak was "perfect"! After a little persuasion from our waiter ( well that's my excuse) we finished off with pavlova and chocolate fudge cake. So as well as an excellent meal, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He made us feel like VIPs from we entered the dining room until we left. I will definitely be back to eat here. Thank you for a superb evening.

The Springhill Bar is a traditional family pub, we welcome customers with a warm atmosphere, friendly staff, plenty of drinks and a fair amount of craic.
Outwardly, the Springhill wouldn't be the most exciting, inviting-looking bar and one that sadly, we have walked past regularly over the years during many holidays to the Port. OH WHAT WE HAVE MISSED!!! Walk through the doors, and you'll find a wonderful, shiny clean, traditional pub, full of character and friendly faces! It is obviously popular with the locals but you'll soon feel just as much a part of it, as visitors are warmly welcomed by all. Wednesday is 'open mic' night - great entertainment and brilliant craic! But, the best of all is Thursday's Traditional Irish Music night ........ simply outstanding!! There were at least 10 -15 highly talented musicians & singers from various locations, who played and sang, sometimes together, sometimes separately, And, with all the craic and everyone in the packed bar singing along, they could've lifted the roof!! People obviously come from near and far to enjoy what is most definitely one of the best nights of real Irish music you'll ever have!! ........ and it's FREE!!!! Thank you to the bar staff and, in particular, Leslie, a wonderful barman AND singer who, (along with his wee sister Annie) made us SO welcome! Great memories and we can't wait to return!! This bar is 'A MUST VISIT' when you're next up at the North Coast!!

A lovely family friendly restaurant and bar which boasts an animal friendly section. Serving beautiful food and providing superb customer service.
We ate here for dinner. Very friendly service, though very slow to take our order. However, food arrived very promptly after this. Husband had the tandoori chicken which he loved. I had the fish and chips - triple cooked chips could have done with a bit longer as some weren't cooked and the vinegar was very watery! (Random but true!). Would try it again as it's very handy location wise.Good Evening CMK79,Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review and for your feedback.i am delighted you enjoyed your meal and my apologies we were delayed in taking your order. Looking forward to welcoming you back to the Inn for another meal in the near future, will make sure the vinegar is tip top :) Kind RegardsKirsty

The Quays Bar Portrush, (formally known as The Alpha Bar) is a family run bar with over 40 years experience. Situated opposite the Portrush Train station and a stone throw away from the west strand beach, it is the perfect gathering place for those wantin
I recently booked the quays for my mum's retirement party. The staff were more than happy to decorate the room for me and very accommodating when I needed to change the buffet time. Carrie and Jamie provided excellent customer service by continually asking about the food and keeping our wee party room tidy. George the barman asked us later on if everything was ok which was a nice personal touch as the bill was already paid. Good customer service goes a long way. We will definitely be back.

Something is most definitely brewing in Portrush - beer is making a quiet and classy comeback! By forging strong links with domestic, individual, artisan brewers Kiwi's Brew Bar is able to source suds that you simply can't get elsewhere along with the bes
Iâve been going to Portrush for many years and usually headed down to the usual venues at the harbour, which are also great. I canât believe that I havenât visited this bar before as it is a great venue. Which door to get in can be a bit confusing but once in itâs a great cosy bar with great friendly service and a limited but delicious food menu (mostly burgers). Great Guinness and good variety of other beers and spirits. Looking forward to my next visit.
