We stopped for an early lunch at Shindigâs. We were warmly greeted and invited to pick any seat. Although only two people we selected one of the their booths that could accommodate 6-8 people. They also have a Snug which brought back memories of past Ireland stops in small Irish villages. The walls of Shindigs are covered with Irish memorabilia. The fish and chips were goodâ the chips extremely good. The service was excellent, the food very good and the ambiance worth the trip.

New place thought we'd try it. The menu is confusing and the food is down home country. The prices are very good and the portion are generous. We eat most of our food fresh, meats, veggies and most organic. This Is a great place for families, country music lovers and good ole boys. Our waitress was dancing table to table. The staff is friendly and are split second fast. However we probably won't be back. The food reminded me of an era long gone, ok food,canned vegetables and fakey tasting smoke in the white gravy.

We stopped in for a late lunch and we both were treated to one the best hamburgers either my wife and I have ever tasted. She had the fries as a side and I had their simply great mac and cheese. Neither she nor I could finish both the sides and the burgers so we ended up each taking half a burger home.Thank you so much!! We appreciate the positive feedback. Look forward to seeing you again

First time we went, we really wanted to like it since it was so close to home, but getting waited on took a long time. But food and drinks were good. However, today on our second attempt (2:45 pm on a Thursday) we watched wait staff deliver food to another table close to ours, watched the order get sent back and redelivered and then 2 wait staff cleared a vacant table, but no one waited on us. Clearly this is not a restaurant/bar that wants customers. Will not try again since a third time would make us the fools.

We had lunch there today. The food was good, the price was right, but the service was a little lacking. Our server needed to be asked more than once for a few things, napkins, drink refills and a box. She did bring the check without asking. We find that the restaurant is very noisy at dinner time, but it was much quieter for lunch.I am certain we will be going back again.

The burgers were good and the steak fries were good for under $10. I got the side of veggies and it was fresh. The service was not that great but not bad. Happened upon the Thirsty Turtle completely by accident in an unfamiliar area. It was a good find. It was clean and comfortable with professional, friendly, attentive service. The menu was varied, portions large, prices very reasonable. Enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip appetizer piping hot with super fresh nacho chips. Everything was good- fried oysters, fish tacos. Was not bowled over by the food and the wings were good but not great, but it was all good and a pleasant casual lunch. Nice to have something thatâs not just a big chain! Definitely would return.
