This place comes highly recommended. I don't know why. Snarky patrons. Ok bartender. Pretty cheap daytime beer, but we'll look around next time. Packed to the rafters at night. An employee at our condo said "lots of fights at night". I believe it!

Friendly staff. Chargrilled oysters appetizer was a bust. Way overcooked and came about about the size of a quarter. And lukewarm. Fried shrimp were good. Waiter admitted he didn't QC the oysters before bringing them out. He tried to make up for it by treating us to some kind of an apple dessert that was terrible.
My review is based on three visits over four months since this bar was recently sold to a new owner. On visit #1, the new owner determined that he didn't like my friend's political viewpoint and kicked him out of the bar. My friend had challenged his facts and the owner didn't like it. So we all left. On visit #2, I went with my son and some of his friends to celebrate his college graduation. After about 30 minutes, one of the bartenders came up and accused me of bringing in underage kids. They even had a sheriff deputy there. I said check their ID's (they had not checked ID's when we entered the place). All of them checked out as 21 or 22. I was given no apology. On visit #3, I was sitting at the bar and needed to use the restroom. I covered the top of my drink with a coaster (means I'll be right back) and left my cigarettes and lighter next to it. I came back <5 minutes later, and my drink, cigarettes and lighter are all gone. I asked the bartender where it all went. He claims he doesn't know what I'm talking about. Now mind you, there's a total of 10 people in the whole place with two bartenders and the owner. Not hard to keep track of things. I spotted my cigarettes and lighter sitting on a shelf behind the bar and pointed them out. The bartender says well how do I know they are yours? He continues to make all kinds of excuses to not give them to me so I go talk to the owner. He just smirks and shrugs his shoulders, like there is nothing he can (or wants) to do. At this point, a guy at the bar who saw all this happened offers to replace the drink that the bartender took away. Nice gesture but I just want to leave at this point. Neither the bartender nor the owner offered to replace my drink and they would still not give me my pack of cigarettes and lighter back that was clearly sitting on this shelf behind the bar in plain sight. Finally the other (nice) bartender grabs the cigarettes and lighter and brings it to me with my bill. I think she saw what was going on and felt sorry for me. I paid, got the hell out and will never return. Old, but not friendly.

The newest restaurant and bar in town. Three stories of great food, signature drinks, and amazing views of Port Aransas and the Gulf. Serving everything from Oysters on the Half Shell to Tenderloin to Tuna Tostadas the the best Chicken Fried Ribeye you've
Stopped in for the first time for a lunch on the go, took us a while to get drinks and longer to place an order. Food was just âokâ I had the pulled pork street tacos and they were as bland as they come. 2 of our group had club sandwiches and really liked them. Our server was a nice enough guy, just not very quick to serve.

Decided to check this place out based on reviews and general past disappointments with food on the island. Prices seemed outlandish, but such is the nature of Port A dining. Quality and flavor of food, however was really good. As we had heard, Blackened Drum Nachos were delicious. Fried shrimp were very good as was my son in law's flounder poboy. Everything the five of us had was tasty . One of the few food places on the island we will return to. Enjoyed drinks at the adjoining bar while food was prepared and had our meal there visiting and watching the charters and jetty boats coming and going .

My friend and I saw some outstanding Blues music, Michael Mulligan from Austin Saturday night. To get a table; we went a little early and decided to have dinner. Tiffany was an outstanding waitress. Even though we had a pretty long time to wait to get our dinner; it was worth the wait. I had grilled drum and two gigantic shrimp; bigger than I have ever seen before. The food was outstanding!!! Their grilled veggies were some of the best we had both eaten. The only negative part of Giggity`s is they still allow smoking; which my friend and I hated.Besides the smoking; the service, food and music was very good. I wish Giggity`s would be like most bars and ban smoking for non smokers like us.

Apparently a new location for this restaurant....we made a reservation because very small building...only 10 tables with some seating at bar. Fried green tomatoes appetizer was okay, crab cakes delicious. My husband had the shrimp with garlic and creole sauce; also delicious. Greek salad very good. Service great with knowledgeable waitress.

After a long day on the beach with our dog we looked for a dog friendly spot for drinks and grub, only a couple place to choose from. So glad we chose Stingrays. Not much outdoor atmosphere but the patio was covered and shaded. They brought our dog a fresh water bowl as soon as we sat down. We ordered our cold beverages which were quickly delivered Was surprised at the menu selection we ordered the buffalo shrimp, Cali burger and pulled pork sandwich. The buffalo shrimp were delicious loved the blue cheese and Parmesan topping on each. The burger was freshly made well seasoned. And the pork was a little sweet for our taste but still very good. Each sandwich came with warm fresh cut chips. They called them kettle chips but were cut more like thin waffle chips but they were tasty! Definitely will be on my list for a return trip !

they have a good band and solid cold beer. It is the sort of place that you see in the Keys and they have enough room to relax and watch the boats come in
