We stopped in here for lunch on a snowy day at the beginning of April. Our lunch was fine - just sandwiches and soup. All was tasty and warm on a cold day. We were glad they were open in the off season!

Wife and I went in for a quick beer and kind of felt out of place as in the Regulars do not make you feel comfortable at all.. So we finished our beer and moved on to a much more relaxing atmosphere at another local bar in that same area

We have been regulars at the Speedwell for several years now. We usually come in on Mondays for half price wing night. I consider myself a wing aficionado. I have had wings all over the country, including Buffalo, NY. Speedwell has the best wings I have ever had. They are cooked perfectly and come in a large variety of different sauces and rubs. They have different specials every week. We also enjoy Thursdays at Speedwell, beer and burger night. Any beer , any burger for $10. Wicked good deal! The craft beer selection is excellent! Always rotating and usually with a couple hard to find brews. If I had one criticism of the Speedwell it would be the $2 upcharge for choosing a vegetable instead of fries/chips as a side with a burger. The service has been consistently good (Ashley and Nikki). The bar can get crowded, but we think itâs worth the wait on a busy night. The live entertainment is decent...a bit too loud...but decent. We love Speedwell and recommend it if you love great pub food.

Whether you are visiting from out of town or a South Shore native, you deserve amazingly fresh, local seafood and a panoramic view of Plymouth Beach, the Saquish, the Gurnet and Clarkâs Island. Sandy's is a "Plymouth Landmark" located directly on Plymouth
We were about to go to Plimoth Plantation, but wanted to eat so we werenât starving upon finishing at the Plantation. Itâs a great view, good seafood, & insanely good pricing. $3.50 for a delish crab cake with a side of yummy sauce? Yes, please!

For those unfamiliar with Cape Cod, many natives and "washashores" alike are notorious for "not going over the bridge." Those who do cross either the Bourne or Sagamore Bridges for various reasons say they're "going off-Cape." That could mean any place from Boston to Cincinnati to the Canary Islands. Well, Plymouth is immediately "off-Cape"...and its Cedarville section is closest to it. There one will find Flynn's, a warm, family-friendly Irish pub. Flynn's started five years ago in a tiny building in Sagamore (on the Cape side of the bridge). Friends kept raving about the burgers, but every time I walked into the little place I couldn't get near the bar. This location is far more spacious, while the owners are turning the small place into the 6A brewery. The burgers are every bit as good as I heard. They can be pricey due to the many combinations of ingredients available. Some are pretty crazy (peanut butter?) but my spicy custom order with chipotle aioli sauce and pepperjack cheese worked extremely well.It was cooked rare as I had requested. My friend's fish and chips entree was substantial and had a tasty, crisp batter. Her chocolate cake dessert was delicious but I preferred my oreo cookie gelato, a creamy delight to say the least. Danielle, our young server, reflected the warmth and hospitality of the place. My friend recently moved back to the Cape from the Worcester area where she loved O'Connor's superb Irish restaurant. While she still misses it, she was relieved to find Flynn's. I love the place and recommend it highly to those who still think there is no reason to go over the bridge.Thank you for the kind words! :) Hope to see you again!

We visited this pub last week to have a sandwich and liquid refreshment (coffee for him, and tea with lemon for me)..This was in early p.m...We both had the fish sandwich , his with french fries and mine with onion rings. There was plenty on the plate, enough to take home. The fish was very tasty with cheese, tomato, and lettuce. The onion rings and french fries were equally tasty also. The bill came to about $27.00 not including the tip. The atmosphere is rustic with sport pictures and items on the walls. The bar is on one side and a small dining room is on the other. They have take out and delivery service available. There are specials for each day with catchy titles..The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, we didn't have to wait long for our meal...They have tv's about that were muted so the noise level was low...A very pretty area with a water attraction on the property. There are a couple of shops that are very inviting. Parking is at a premium and traffic tends to be busy in this area as people go in to see the water and wildlife in it. There is a sidewalk on one side only so we had to walk on the street which could present a problem for some and you walk into the property as the entrance is in the back of the building. Would we go back ..yes definitely as we were pleased with this place.

Very good food, and great specials too. But no T Bone steaks anymore. Hubby had Ribs and they were tender and delicious. I had the Burger special and it was very good. Easy to get to, great service, and good food for a good price.

Dillon's Local is a cozy watering hole in downtown Plymouth serving delicious comfort food, locally sourced specials, handcrafted cocktails and great, local beer.
We went in a dinner time and were seated immediately. Although not directly on the water, it's very close and the food is so good. Hubby had the Shepherd Pie which he said was excellent, I had the fish tacos which I've eaten lots of places, these were the very best I've ever had. Locally owned, you can't go wrong here!
