Typical Spanish, no frills bar, fairly good service with a home cooked menu, del dia, with a different menu daily. The menu offers a choice of three to four starters, three mains and a range of deserts for 10⬠including a half bottle of local wine (which is okay, depending on your taste). Bar Juan is very popular with locals, cyclists and some expats. You wonât be disappointed.

Bar Emilio - Best Bar in Town. Well of course it is because it's the only bar in town. Closed on Mondays. Very British/Spanish (in that order) run by Alex and Marco, it's a great place to just chill out. It can be very lively at the weekends, particularly when they have a musical jamming session. Food is also served. The menu is exclusively tapas but they will also do a full English breakfast. The guys always make you very welcome. A little gem!!

This small bar towards the top of the main street in Orba serves the most wonderful tapas and wins the top rating every year in the local Ruta de Tapas. The tapas are delicious, cooked individually and the price for around 5 courses and a bottle of wine is only10-12â¬. The service is friendly and the owner speaks a little English. Let him choose for you and enjoy real Spanish cuisine!

Having spent 1week as a cyclist in the area this is the only cafe that I have been impressed with, great vibe, great food and excellent coffee.The best cycle cafe that I think I have been to, a wonderful place that I cannot fault.Very well done to the owners you have created a wonderful place for hungry cyclists.

Called here with our daughter and grandchildren aged 3 and a half. My wife chose the chilli con carne and the rest had a variety of burgers. All were freshly prepared and were delicious. The home made deserts can also be recommended. Delicious cheesecake and brownies. The staff are very pleasant and we were really well looked after. If your looking for a quick, quality meal in Jalon can definitely recommend here.

This is a tiny Spanish bar which is popular with the locals and expats, with pavement tables to sit and watch the square come to life on a Saturday. nothing special but not a bad watering hole... Not much else to say.. worth a try. Why not.

We've used the El Forn Vell as one of our regular spots for quite some time. The bar is cosey and comfortable, warm in winter ,and a nice outside area for when its hot. The beer is cold and theres even a choice of ciders. There's always a warm welcome from the owners and staff which just adds to the experience. Food is pub grub tasty and nicely presented... If you see an advert for their rib night its well worth booking.. Its excellent....
