Yippee a neighborhood bar serving great tacos on Tuesdays! $2 Such a deal. Margaritas at $4 are great too. Sat at the bar. Service was great in the beginning then bartenders changed and everything slowed down. We will be back. It was a good value. Only suggestion is no one in our party liked the Tilapia tacos. They should try a better fish. Even if they have to charge more for it.

my buddy and i stopped at the Lamplighter Inn Tavern for a cold beer after a saturday morning of yardwork. historical registered building, 1800's. old wood bar and high ceiling. atmosphere is outstanding, mixture of regulars, boomers and millennials. good cheap cold draft beer, with 6-8 brands to choose from. budweiser draft was onsale for $2.00 and other sales for coors light and miller lite. buddy got large 23 oz. coors light draft for $4.00. the thin crust sausage pizza was good too. young lady bartending(ha ha sweetie) was quite gracious. looking forward to another visit.

We visited on a Saturday evening and were delighted with the open atmosphere, large selection of specialty beers each served in its own unique glassware, and very generous portions. Started out with the huge pretzel and some authentic cheese curds and went on to enjoy 3 choices of schnitzel as well as cedar plank salmon. The red cabbage was outstanding. Too full to try the desserts.

Went on a busy Saturday night- and service took forever. Interesting eclectic crowd- the space is much nicer since they have expanded. The food(which took 50 minutes- I timed it) was ok. The steak sandwich was tough and overcooked. Good music place and wish they had a better beer selection.

Owned and operated Durty Nellie's for over 25 years.
Was here for a retirement party for a co worker. Two bar areas, the main bar and a larger music room that caters to live music. Interestingly enough, the larger music room does not have the same selection of liquor as the smaller bar area. For quality drinks, stay at the main bar

The wings are the best around. I ordered them plain for my kids. So crispy and flavorful even with out sauce on them. They have food for everyone. I had a great chop salad. The pizza is great. Service is spot on. I highly recommend it.

Stopped in for appetizer and drinks at the bar. Large TVs at the bar. Plenty of seating. High ceilings and noise level can be loud with a crowd. Enjoyed the Kobe Sliders. Service at bar was good. Large variety for beers. Near Train Station.

If you want a neighborhood pub type experience with excellent food, friendly people, and good service then come to Brandt's. It has been an institution in Palatine for years. We just recently ate there within the past 3 years and it has become a regular stop. The hamburgers are superb, as are the potatoes. They have nice outdoor dining in the summertime, and crowded but comfortable seating inside.
