It was founded in 1834 on the western edge of the Allegheny Plateau, just west of the city of Mansfield. After being incorporated in 1958, Ontario became a heavy manufacturing center because of the Erie Railroad line, and its proximity to Mansfield. However, its status in that regard began to decline in the late 20th century, when much of the Erie Railroad that once ran through the city was abandoned; and shifts in the manufacturing industry led to the relocation or repositioning of many factories. The city's industry has since diversified into the service economy, including education, finance and healthcare. The city is also a major regional retail hub serving the entire North-Central Ohio area, with a shopping population of over 150,000.

We have went by here many times on our way home. Thought we would try it out. We were sat promptly and waited on quickly. After that...not so good. Pretzel appetizers were hard served w a very small side of cheese....enough for one pretzel. Chicken tenders were horrible (hard and cheery) and same w the fries. Pizza was ok. On the greasy side. Waitress was fair. Checked on us once but never asked why we didnât eat much of anything they brought.

Still one of our all time favorite reviews of our place, if you've been there. you'll get it! What a hidden gem! Ambiance is amazing. It goes from Roseanne Barr looks on the outside, to Scarlett Johansson on the inside. Great selection of not only wine bu
If you know beers, and you've been around to some breweries, you'll appreciate the passion that this brewery, Laxton Hollow, has for beer. It's nestled inside the Happy Grape bar, the far door to your left. It's actually very cozy and classy. Separating the beer bar from the wine bar is a door-shaped opening. There are four cask ales to choose from. Get a flight if you want since they are all fairly unique. The beers that actually stand out are the porter and IPA. I like the porter far better. The rest fit the "cask ale" bill as warm(er) and low abv, but not a lot of flavor. The said two ales offer distinct profiles. Get a pint of the porter and you'll get the experience. It has a winey, smooth, yet robust character and allows you to experience the intention of brewing a cask ale, think natural carbonation versus forced, which is historically how beer used to be made. It's worth trying it and appreciating it. Flatbread was good. The whiskey beef was $13, but not worth that price. Try the tuscan chicken flatbread or a sandwhich. You get to take home the complimentary glossy, baseball-card like, playing cards describing each beer. If you are only making 4 beers, this guy goes all out for those four! You can appreciate that.Cheers
Martini's is located in a historic building in downtown Mansfield. It is the best place for a cocktail in town. The drinks are custom made and very unique. I cannot pick a favorite on the menu. Because they are all fantastic. It is an experience. Not just a place to buy a drink.

We just recently started going here and continue to be impressed. The food is really good and the portions are really huge. The service can be a little spotty at times, but overall very good and very friendly. The italian dishes are amazing. The lasagna is my favorite. Nice variety of choices on the menu. Salads, sandwiches, snacks & pastas. One of our local favs.

Stopped in contiguous with Mansfield's Brickyard and decided to get a drink or two. Our server, Mike Zellner, was super and a nice ambassador for this place. We got a moonshine margarita and a Surley Gnome and they both were very tasty. They had lots of beers on tap but we did not sample them. This place was really cool and has a degree of eclecticism permeating it!!!! I loved the neat atmosphere and would come back her in a second!!!! Very cool!!!!!

One of several Ohio locations.
Always have loved this place and gave them 5 stars before but last night we were there with a large group - we had a reservation so they knew we were coming and had a table ready. You would think with 20 people they would have planned for more than one waitress. The waitress we had was nice and friendly and gave it her all but several orders were screwed up with items missing - one person waited over 60 minutes for their fish even though the rest of his people had been served. The fish arrived after he had left. Several people were missing things that they had ordered and we only found out after we left that the side salad we did not get until asking again for it was added to the bill again when it finally arrived. The food was good and the atmosphere okay but it seems they could have been better prepared for a large party - they serve them all the time.

We ate here to celebrate my great-nephews birthday so it was his choice to come here. We won't be back. Thank goodness it was on a Tuesday so the wings were 60 cents. Their orders for wings are snack, small, medium and large, they don't tell you how many you get in each order. We were told that we could order any amount since it was Tuesday. I tried to order 2 of one kind and 3 of another and was told I had to order 3 of each. My niece tried to order boneless and was told that she had to order 10 minimum. My mother-in-law got an order of fries for $4.49 and she got the smallest amount of fries I have ever seen!!! She should have received 5 times the amount for that price! I ordered breaded mushrooms for $6.49 and the same thing...........not enough for the price! Same thing with our nephews potato wedges. I ordered some of the jerk wings and they were terrible. I have had them at a couple of other places and they were wonderful, these had a weird spice on them and were not good at all. My husband ordered the buffalo wing macaroni and cheese and some wings and the waitress asked if he was sharing with me. I told her no, he's a big boy and eats a lot!!! What a question! Are you sharing? Her job is to take our order and get our food. No rude questions!!! Our bill for 5 people was $70. Three of us even had water to drink and one had 5 wings and that was it. $70!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Sud
TGIF's back before they left (and then came back) was one of my favorites. Now, the menu has changed, service is average and its overpriced. Don't plan on being back for a long time, if at all. To many other great restaurants in the area. The menu sucks, and have yet to have a wonderful waitress/waiter even if their not busy.
