Had another great meal at Run Of The Mill. Love the food & beer list. Dining room was large, rustic and a bit chilly. Loud on the weekends when music is playing. Weather permitting eat out on the deck. French Onion Soup is delish! Also liked the Cuban Sandwich. One of my fav dishes here is "The Drunken Pot Roast."

Place is located on the Pier. We visited in September, which is when the season ends. Everything closes up. I would think there would be some places open and thriving for the locals. We were within walking distance from our hotel so gave this place a shot. Looking forward to pub She was more interested in the other customers for some reason. Food was not your typical seafarers delight. I had a bowl of chowder. It was not thick like they advertised. Did not taste homemade. My husband's burger was a meatball. For the prices I would have enjoyed authentic dishes. Should have driven around the bend to the Clambake or Ken's. They had a full parking lot which tells you they have great food.

This restaurant opened under new management last February, and we happened upon it last June. Had a fantastic home-cooked dinner. Visited Old Orchard again this past weekend and decided to try it again. Fantastic! We both had great meals -- old-fashioned pot roast with baby carrots and mashed potatoes -- tender meat, flavorful gravy, just delicious all around.......and a gourmet treat -- shepherd's pie with squash topping instead of potatoes -- tasted like a gourmet meal from the Old Port in Portland. Finished it off with blueberry bread pudding with bourbon sauce. What a meal.....for about $25 all-told. This is a place not to miss.

The owner took over the karaoke which stopped locals and tourists from having a turn. She then kicked up a fuss that I didn't finish my beer 5 minutes after last call. She was rude and abrupt. Will not be visiting again.I am sorry that's your perception. Singers only go up on stage when called up by the DJ. Nobody takes over karaoke since the DJ has control over the order of singers. Also, in regards to the drink issue, drinks are not removed from customers until 1:15, which is 15 minutes after last call, and the legal state mandated time . Again, we apologize that you did not enjoy your experience.

A group of us went for happy hour and ordered several appetizers to go with the drinks. We got the pizza knots, loaded fries, fried shrimp, and natchos. The shrimp was the best out of the bunch, the natchos didn't have much topping. The pizza some other people ordered didn't look that great -- I've seen better supermarket pizza. My house margarita was okay. The place is LOUD. In addition to the noise from the television and patrons, there was a blaring radio station with deafening commercials, making it hard to have any kind of conversation without screaming at each other. Since when did happy hour justify so much noise? Not my kind of place.

The Strike Zone is family owned and operated since 2007. Conveniently located in the heart of Old Orchard Beach. Open year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check out our website for our menu, specials and more!
We visited OOB the middle of September and the beach and pier were still pretty busy given the lovely warm weather. We had planned on watching Sunday football with beer and wings at this sports bar. We arrived and happily ordered an ice cold bucket with 2 bottles of beer for under $4 and pursued the menu. While not exciting or imaginative they did have wings. We didn't find out until after the beer and a 10 minute wait that they had run out of wings! What? Sunday - wings - sport bar? I know they were busier than expected but the waitress said someone had 'bought them all'. Well someone from management should have sent a cook out to the nearest supermarket because they must have been missing sales from that alone. Otherwise an ok place to have an ice cold beer. We will try again next year.

We happened to be camping at Wild Acres Campground and had our dog with us, so we were not able to go to a restaurant for dinner, so we ordered out. I had the scallops and it was the best dinner I've had in a long time. They were so tender and tasty. This would be my first choice of a restaurant for seafood the next time we are in Maine.

Old Orchard Beach's laid back fine-dining restaurant & lounge now for the season . Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
What an incredible dinner we had. We started with the mussels, very touchy. The lobster risotto was phenomenal, so much food. My daughter still raves about the lobster roll. Great drinks. Canât wait to go back.
