We visited this pub on a Sunday lunch. There's not enough of choices in the food menu. Come on Chef : you can be more innovative. And dude : more generous with your portions. I ordered the $15 chicken club. It works great as a kids meal. The bowl of salad was one third the size of a McDonald's salad. It's mixed greens for God's sake and cheap string carrots. Really? Is that how to save money? The sandwich was small and good as a midnight snack. It's not adult size sandwich. My girlfriend ordered a bowl of salad and bowl of soup. It came in a bowl exactly the size/shape of the bowl that had the creamers inside. I'm showing the picture of that bowl for you to see. They do have a nice promotion on beer and wings during happy hour. The taste was ok.

My son and I enjoyed a pleasant walk along LoLo and ended up at Browns for a lovely dinner. Each meal was well presented with vibrant colours. I was delighted with my flavourful coconut rice, tender grilled chicken, and crispy fresh salad. My kid enjoyed the chicken quesadilla with a hearty soup. Both entrees were comforting, and perfect for a crisp windy evening. My teenage son isnât one to chat much, and I was feeling under the weather. It was welcoming to have a congenial server attending to our table. Chill vibes, great food, and excellent service! Thank you for the great rating and review Brenda! We hope to socialize with you and your son again soon!

We had heard good things about this pub... but the food was not good, the ribs were so over cooked we could hardly chew the meat .... very disappointing We are so sorry to hear that we did not meet or exceed your expectations. Please email us at [email protected] so we can try to make your next experience better. Cameron Pemberton Station Pub

We had the choice of the hotel lounge or the pub, we chose the pub and I am glad we did! The service was friendly, efficient and quick. The food took a little longer than I expected but it was awesome on its arrival! It could just have been because it was right at dinner time and the pub was busy. We had the nachos with chicken, they were delicious and would recommend them. Our server checked back on us frequently and overall the experience was excellent. We would go there again if in the area.

If visiting Vancouver pick up "The Growler" book ASAP. This essential guide list the micro brewers. It is needed as most are hard to find and in unlikely locations. Deep Cove is one of the most salubrious. They have food, Gin and great beer Hazy IPA was on for our first of several visits. In common with most of these micro brewers first get a "Flight" a selection of small taster glasses of the current brews. Be warned few are less than 5% some 7 or 8% so we share each. Once you have made a choice fill your Growler. This is like a Flagon or demijon. You can refill Growlers from any of the Brewers and they wash and recap. Vancouver micro breweries produce some of the best beers in the world, and this is up there with the best.

British style pub with lots of local, imported and microbrew on draft. Great pub atmosphere with live music, weekend DJ, and your favourite sports on TV. Popular spot for locals to meet and relax, watch a game and eat comfort food. Reservations available
Looks like a pub, smells like a pub, it us a pub. Great food and beer selection. Good service and grub is skyways cooked fresh and served promptly.Have, alas, recently adopted the Canadian laxness in the description of a pint measure. The glass does not hold 20 ozs trust me I have a lifetime experience in pint measures.

The Cliff House Restaurant is located inside Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and is accessible for visitors of the park. With 150 indoor/outdoor seating, the new restaurant offers views of the Capilano Canyon and local west coast fare.
Within the Capilano Suspension bridge attraction. I somehow wish you could go to the restaurant without having to pay to entrance fee. Had a very nice wine flight and you could choose any of their wines they offered by the glass. They offer a very good BC Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our server Meaghan was extremely friendly. Would return

Black Bear Pub is a great local spot in North Vancouver. It has a great selection of beer and food. I appreciate the outdoor patio because it is less noisy and brighter. If you are inside, it is still a great venue as they have any places to sit.I always enjoy trying different micro-brewery beers and their staff are quite knowledgeable.

Our flagship location in North Vancouver's Lower Lonsdale neighbourhood. This location features a large dining room with two mezzanines that overlook the lively lounge. Catch the Shipyards Night Market or other community events while sitting on our season
We were here for lunch with relatives visiting Vancouver. It seemed like most of the restaurants on lower Lonsdale are closed at lunchtime and we did not feel like eating at Lonsdale Quay. Tap & Barrel is casual and has a pub like ambiance. I found even the booths were very high and I had to climb up in order to seat myself in the booth. Iâm under 5â and a senior so seating myself was an interesting challenge. The service was very good fortunately since the parking on the streets at lunchtime is somewhat limited and with a time limit of 1 hour it did not allow us to linger over lunch. We ordered, pizzas (2), poke bowl, tuna salad and fish and chips. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My fish and chips were well prepared. The fish was nice and moist but the chips could have been crisper. The fish and chips were $19.95 and the fish used was cod. The food was very good but I felt it was somewhat overpriced. It is unlikely that we would return as I found their menu to be very limited and a bit too pricey. If Iâm paying $20.00 for fish and chips it should be prepared with something better than cod.Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback and we will share it with our team. We hope that you would consider returning and if you would like to email more details about the menu being limited we would love to hear from you. You can reach us at: [email protected]
