This seems like a pretty typical Chili's, and Chili's seems like a pretty typical casual food chain. They have a decent variety on the menu, a little pricier than I think it should be (but isn't that typical today?), and I found the service to be good and friendly.

Located in historic Federal Hill, Providence Oyster Bar stands out as Rhode Island"s premiere seafood house. Upscale, yet casual, the Providence Oyster Bar welcomes you to be spoiled by the freshest selection of oysters and clams.
The staff were so accommodating and gave great recommendations and tips on what to order to my young daughter who had her first oysters and clams. They made us feel very welcome. An absolute must for anyone visting or living in the area. Great food with an absolutey fanstastic service. A special mention for Steve who made our dining experience an absolute pleasure.

I found that most Hotel restaurants are not worth the hype or price. I found just the opposite with the Vig. Good service, great food with nice portions. My wife and I ate dinner here before an event at the DD Center and were surprised at the quality and prices. We also walked through the Vig after our event and it seemed like it was the place to be. Very crowded and everyone enjoying themselves. We may have to go for drink after the event next time we are in Providence.

There is something essentially wrong here. We tried this restaurant about a month or so ago on a Saturday night. There seemed to be some confusion with orders between servers and the kitchen. I ordered the fish tacos. When they came out they were cold. By the time I got the server, my husband was finished eating so I said to not reorder. Then she told us that the "chef" said they weren't supposed to be hot!So this past weekend my family went early afternoon. There were only a few people there. The bartender was the server. 3 ordered burgers, 1 - the flatbread pizza. Horrible experience. First the bartender and the chef were yelling back and forth to each other, swearing, making fun of people and insulting either the manager or the owner who was not present. The food arrived - all burned. The server was like - oh well - was once again swearing dropping the f bomb. And he wreaked of alcohol - as in drinking it himself. Didn't want to send back the food since they were already complaining that they were going to screw food up for the large party coming in later because they didn't want the hassle. It was surreal to say the least. We thought it was part of on of those punked shows!! Unfortunately this could be a nice place but the only thing we found good were the wine prices. But if the food and service is that bad - there is no way we would go back! Wondering if the owners know how bad this is!
I have gone here a few times with my family since it opened. The food is really good. There is very high attention to detail in the food whether it was the drizzle of balsamic on the calamari, the amazing spicy dipping sauces with the chicken tenders or the sauce on the pizza. TRY THE FRIES! My family have eaten about half way through the menu so far and nothing has been short of worth what we paid for. The food does take a touch longer than maybe youâd expect but not crazy long and itâs well worth it. I would suggest to the cooks not to trade off any of that flavor for speed. The only negative here is there is no kids menu. I donât think they should have a generic kids menu, maybe they could offer a kid friendly and portion of what they already offer. If they are reading this, my kids loved the spaghetti aioli with broccoli when I asked for it without crushed red pepper, the chicken tenders are REAL and very tasty but the amazing sauces werenât kid friendly. I would suggest smaller portion options with that thought. I have two little girls so one meal was plenty to split and they loved it, but if you have one or different eaters then it would be a ton of food (but you could always have pizza!!)The menu here is moderately priced. Some of the items, I would have expected to pay more for. If they keep them like this and have the food taste this good they can expect us to continue to visit regularly.

I've been looking for a home in northern RI and have stopped here a couple of times while attending open houses in the area. Really nice place - spacious and clean - waitstaff is so friendly and the food is great. My kids loved that they have a couple of games to play too.

Opened in 1993, our restaurant is located in Greenville, RI at the Apple Valley Mall Plaza. A favorite among our youngest of customers, this location boasts the most popular Kid's Night every Monday from 5 PM to 8 PM...And for the adults (who still may be
We were here on a Friday night around 10:30, it was not busy. The food was actually good. We had clam cakes, the salmon burger, spicy pickle chips and chicken wings. Our server was the reason I gave it a low rating. She started out ok, not friendly but did her job. She did not explain any specials, and when we did get our food she never asked how it was. She did ask if we needed anything else. She seemed rushed, but there did not seem to be any other customers for her. She never brought us drink refills. Towards the end she brought us our bill. We waited 18 minutes before she came back to our table to get payment. I did get up and walk around, but there were no employees around to even get her for us. I did see in the kitchen window that she was chatting and laughing. When she finally did come, there was no apology for taking you so long.

We came here for dinner and it was packed. Itâs a huge space and can hold a few hundred people at a time. They have a very large menu with everything from pizzas to sandwiches to Mediterranean and Mexican food. The cheesesteak and chicken sandwich was very good. Overall, if you're looking for pub food with a modern twist or just want some beers this is a nice spot.

What a find! We went to Wicked Tulips Farm (which is wonderful) and then wanted some lunch. Stumbled across this place and frankly didn't expect much. They had four $5 lunch special including a ham and cheese with fries, a personal pizza with 2 toppings, 2 chilli dogs, or fried clams with fries. Seeing as it was a lovely warm spring day, visions of summer weather enticed us to try the fried clam platter. We had nothing to lose, except 5 bucks.Well the waitress/bartender was very nice and friendly and attentive. She offered lemon in my water and refilled our drinks frequently. The clams were surprisingly excellent. Really an all around wonderful experience.

The service was very pleasant and friendly. I had tequila sunrise that was perfection. They had a surprising number of beers, along with Samuel Adams Octoberfest. I had clam strips that were golden brown and delicious. The atmosphere was definitely was a New England Pub. A place you can feel at home when you walk in the door.
