Great clam chowder. Has a slight âcajunâ flavor but creamy with a reasonable amount of potatoes and lots of clams! Halibut Fish & Chips reminded me of English Fish & Chips. Chips ( french fries) were quite good. Good beer on tap.
Silver Dollar is well-known for being a "dive", but what that translates to for avid karaoke-goers is: less people and more chances to sing! The bartenders (especially Lisa) are a hoot and very good to their loyal customers (they make your drinks especially potent = good value for your money!). They are also quick to remove anyone who is causing trouble. This is actually my man's and my bar of choice. One tip: they don't accept credit/debit cards, but they do have an ATM on the premises.

We went for lunch today and we were very impressed. Very friendly server, Sandy, and the other guests were just as friendly. We each had a beer and we started with chicken wings. The wings were huge, not those tiny bony things you usually get. They were served with lots of celery. Then came our burgers. They were huge and delicious! Everything was freshly prepared and hot. We have a nice take home box for a snack tonight. If we lived here, this would be our go to place. So instead we will visit every time we pass through. Thanks Sandy! You made our lunch a fun experience.

I have been a regular at Goonies for a couple of years now. Ken and Scott are friendly, attentive bartenders who are careful to keep an eye out for their regulars (especially on those rare occasions I've gone in alone). They make strong drinks and their bar eats are the best (particularly the "pork wings" basket). A little crowded/loud on Thurs and Fri as these are their karaoke nights. It's also a little hard to get a song in unless you get there right at the start of the night (10pm). Weds are VERY noisy because of Jam Night, but worth it to hear local players jam together.

This is far & away the BEST food in Coos Bay! Off the beaten path, but worth looking for. Grilled, Fresh, Friendly, and always EXCELLENT food. Local's favorite!
This is my favorite place to have a ribeye steak. The place is small, but they have an outside patio area, heated.Their only drawback is they serve margarine instead of butter. I asked them why & long story short, the waitress said that we are allowed to bring butter in with us, if we desire, a decent compromise.

Walt's Pourhouse is a sports bar located in the logging and fishing community of Coos Bay, Oregon. We have 16 beers on tap â many from Oregon â a full bar with specialty cocktails, as well as bottled and canned beer. Classic bar games like pool and shuffl
This place seems to be popular with the local. The sandwiches, burgers, and other comfort food are well prepared. We were there on a Saturday night and the place was well attended, which meant we needed to work to get the wait staff's attention. I ate a delicious Rueben sandwich with fries. The home cut fries were a little soggy, maybe I should have opted for the "crispy" fries. the beer selection was good and featured locally produced brews.

The best chicken and mojos I have ever ate. Great prices on everything. Keep in mind this is a tavern and not a full bar, they only serve beer and wine. They also have the cheapest laundromat in town too oddly enough. Great place to get a bite to eat, a cold beer, and just relax.

This was my first visit. On another patron's advice I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Flat Bread. Think personal pizza size. Delicious, and appropriately garlicky. A perfect lunch on this cool coastal day. The crust is nicely crunchy without being hard. The topping was not greasey, and moderately cheesy. I did take-out since I was on my way to the beach with the dog.The pub has a full-on bar, and I had a local brewpub beer while waiting for my order.I will stop by again. This pub is attached to a bowling alley so they are open all day - sorry, don't know when they close, but knowing this town, probably 10pm.

We are a little brewery dedicated to local quality. We offer great beer, Oregon Wines, and locally distilled spirits as well as a small, seasonal, locally sourced menu. We have lovely outdoor seating and live music almost every night we are open. We are f
Our party had a few different items fromThe menu. The potato soup is great along with the fried tuna, Mac and cheese, chicken, the Reuben sandwich was especially good and the fries were awesome (like homemade)!!!

Continuing the tradition in a building built before 1910 that once held one of North Bendâs earliest saloons, our intent is to provide our guests with a true neighborhood pub â a relaxed and comfortable environment in which adults can enjoy some great foo
