Awesome place to meet new people. It has become a routine to go just about every week for supper. Once you meet a few people you become family. Amazing food with different dishes to try. Always have new Saturday specials. Service is great. Everyone is always so friendly.

Just had lunch at this establishment with work friends. To say it was dissappointing would be a gross understatement! Meals were served one plate at a time, with the last one finally coming out 1 1/2 hours after the first person was served. I ordered the Thai chicken stir fry. Burnt red and green peppers on a bed of overcooked noodles with dry hard strips of burnt chicken....and NO seasoning....thai or otherwise. Service and food were so bad the manager covered everyones bill....and we were 15 people! Plus the place was freezing cold....even with a jacket on. Never ever going back there.

For over 30 years Winnie's Pub has long been a favourite for locals and travelers alike. Offering a wide variety of classic dishes, new gastropub favourites and daily homemade specials. Winnies intimate dining space offers a casual experience and a comfor
This pub is within the Churchill prime rib restaurant and shares the menu with it but has a pub menu - although more burgers, steak sandwiches, fish and chips rather than some traditional pub fare. But excellent..steak perfectly done in my sandwich, nice thick portion. Fries amongst the best I have had. Reasonable prices. (now the main restaurant menu that you can choose from is pretty high priced - everything over $30).Only complaint really was they kept turning the lights down every 20 minutes or so, so by the time we left you almost needed a flashlight. Luckily we weren't one of the people who came in partway through our visit or they would be eating in the dark almost.

My husband ordered a large Mediterranean salad with shrimp on the side for take out. When we got the the hotel he opened it up and there was tiny breaded shrimp and no dressing. He called to let them know (I assumed he might just get an apology) and they were amazing!!! They apologized and delivered 10minutes later the right shrimp and dressing. Mistakes do happen so when they are dealt with so professionally and efficiently it is such a great display of wonderful service! I was really surprised and impressed! Thanks for the 5-star review, Robyn! We hope you enjoyed your Mediterranean salad and shrimps and we look forward to seeing you again next time you're in town.

We have been going here for a few years, and it has always been an okay place to gather with friends. The food never anything to write home about, but good enough. This last visit sealed the fact that I will never darken their door again. First off, their drink menu has no prices, so you canât compare the prices of their beers or wines. I donât think I have ever come across this anywhere in the world where we have eaten. In the past they have had white wine available by the 750 mL bottle. No more, if you want white wine you have to buy it by the glass, which ends up being considerably more expensive, in fact we had some sort of manager come to the table and tell us that they never served white wine by the bottle. The service was slow, and the server rarely came to the table to check our drinks or ask if our meal was okay. The excuse was that she was new, but why did they give a new server such a large group to take care of?One of our friends asked for a Coke or Pepsi, and was brought a coffee. When the server was corrected, it took another 20 minutes for the pop to arrive. He also ordered a dinner salad, pointing to it on the menu, and was brought a side salad. After ordering a beer, the server came back to tell me it was not available. The wings were passable, but a long way from the quality of a few years back. The pizza was edible, but certainly not up to the quality of other pizza restaurants in town. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and several of us at the table agreed there certainly are better places in town to spend money on a meal out.

Locally-owned and operated family business offering delicious and affordable food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We were driving through the city and looking for a place for brunch and ended up at this place, finding it by accident after we had given up looking and were headed for fast food. It was a pretty nice discovery, with a decent brunch and friendly service , which was almost exactly what we were looking for.

We had friends in town and decided to try out Cecil's on a Friday night. Once inside you find that you are in an upscale Pub with the Brewery visible behind the glass. Our waitress was Diane and she was absolutely fantastic. I started off with the French Onion Soup ($8.49), it was good although the broth is not your typical beef broth. I then went with the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf ($21.95), the meatloaf was delicious round in shape wrapped in nicely cooked pieces of bacon. Some delicious mashed potatoes were on the side, I was disappointed with the very small portion of vegetables that accompanied my meal but otherwise, everything else was great. I will look forward to returning and trying some of the other interesting options on the menu.

The menu is typical pub fare without salad options. This was disappointing as we try to pick low carb choices. I had the chicken cauliflower curry with Nan. The sauce is mild with good balanced flavour. I enjoyed my meal. The waitress was welcoming and prompt. Hubby chose the burger with side salad.

The Raven and Republic is a dinner and entertainment spot, located in a house that has been renovated to accommodate the commercial business. The main floor is set up for dining while the second floor is more for large groups. In the summer they have an outside balcony on top and bottom floor for gathering outside, which is good for casual drinking before or after food. The menu is varied, but not overly large, with a good selection, and the presentation is very good. A very good local craft beer selection is available. On many weekends, there is live entertainment, so the place fills up, affecting the ability to get a table, if you are planning on eating late and don't know about the entertainment. I recommend it for a good meal, very relaxing atmosphere, for a quiet night, most times.
