I am from the greater Philly Area and this place exceeded my expectations.Perfect bread for the sandwich, and generous on the meat. I ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and my father a regular cheesesteak and we were both blown away by the authenticity. The beer selection was great and while we waited for our sandwiches to be made we enjoyed some fine local beer. I will be visiting again without a doubt.

We stopped here on the way back from Yorktown. It is a smhomemadepitaall place hidden in the rear. When we walked in, there was only a bartender/server/hostess/etc. She was very nice and very friendly. She seated us promptly and took our drink order. If you love appetizers, you will love this place. The crab dip is very good. My daughter loved the homemade pita chips. The pretzel mozzarella sticks are amazing. They are so tasty and the homemade beer mustard sauce is the perfect compliment. The burgers are hand made and very thick. I ordered mine medium, but the thick center was medium and the thinner outside was well done. This is a nice place but a little dim and looks like it caters better to a night life. The cigar/vape chest in the entrance is a little off putting. The staff is very nice, the appetizers are amazing, and the burgers are good.

I recently got take-out from Chiliâs & it was a great experience. The staff were friendly & prompt. My large order was prepared & packed correctly. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta & they accommodated my request for no chicken & extra sauce. This dish was so delicious; nice flavor without being too spicy. The Crispy Asparagus was pretty good; good flavors on the generous breading. It came with an aioli that was just mostly mayo. The Skillet Queso was okay; it looked & tasted like hamburger helper. The White Queso dips were very good, as was the guacamole. The great blends of flavors of cilantro & tomatoes were great. My favorite was the pasta. Great texmex menu & great service!

Spent an evening here with friends. We ordered a number of dishes, all of which could be called generous. Prices were reasonable. Service was medium-slow on a Friday night. Our servers were personable, but not what you might consider exceptional.Food was OK...nothing special. Very, very informal atmosphere - Ts and jeans the norm.

Tried this restaurant this week while in Newport News. My daughter lives nearby and recommended it. My wife, daughter and I were seated quickly. Very clean, nice atmosphere. Decided on sharing a clam strip appetizer and we both ordered burgers which came with a choice of a side. My daughter I chose salad and my wife a pasta salad. My daughter ordered a chicken sub. The clam and fries came out first, plenty to share. Fries were good, but clam strips were very tough, must have been frozen out of box and cooked to long. Salad was excellent, large and fresh. Hamburgers were cooked perfectly and delicous. Pasta salad was OK, she should have gotten the salad. Chicken sub that we sampled was the best, lots of chicken, tasted great. No room for dessert, but will be back!

Outstanding service at Brickhouse Tavern and delicious pizza, calamari and poppers. Took my son and his friends to this restaurant as it is one of their favorites. The server was professional, friendly and patient. Somehow we managed to drop an entire pizza and the server offered to get us a new one. She never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Sure wish I could remember her name. Fun night.

Honestly I ate here twice and both times it was the breakfast buffet, which was average at best. The restaurant is known for its burgers and bar food, so I canât judge them too harshly for the breakfast.
