I really enjoy the Dapp for weekday lunch hour/ dinner. The soft seating and cosy atmosphere in the lounge make it easy to relax over lunch which is such a bonus during a busy workday. There are two freshly prepared dinner specials each day as well as the regular menu and an excellent dessert menu with all the classics ( rice pudding, apple crumble, peach Melba, trifle, etc), though I rarely have room for dessert as the dinner is so substantial. The staff are friendly and there is a loyal, regular clientele. The car park is a bonus to anyone who is driving as the street parking is metered.

My husband and I stayed in Nenagh over Easter weekend and when we weren't with family and friends catching up our evening meals were again taken at the Hibernian. The food is much as we remembered it - of excellent quality; challenging quantities; but sourced locally. The same welcome awaited with an added extra - they remembered us from our last visit - and we found the locals much as we'd left them: friendly and welcoming with a bit of banter on top. It's just the sort of place that we sadly don't have where we live in the UK and gives the Irish their name in hospitality. Roll on our next visit, which we hope will be in the autumn.

Visited here sat evenin last bout 5/5.30 when we got there there was approx 10/15 people bn served food place wasnât busy we waited for 55 mins to get r food and when we got it was NOT waiting for Luke warm food and the coating on my hubby and sons chicken was disgusting defo way to much herbs used in it and the chic in my stir fry was rock hard waste of money we were very disappointed with r visit
Dropped in for an impromptu lunch with a big group and they coped brilliantly. Service was great but food was really tasty and portions extremely generous. Prices were really good and all in all i would really recommend Reidys if you are in the North Tipperary region.

I enjoyed the offer of steak and a pint for â¬20 on Wednesday night last. It was quality. I then enjoyed the bread and butter pudding, which was the best I have ever had. The service was exceptional. Don't pass nenagh without checking this place out.

Called in recently on a sunday at 15:30 it was quiet with a few eatting and at the bar. The place in general had that old irish feel to it which is lovely. We were seated by the gentleman behind the bar and given menud. The menu did not overly grab my attention but we decided on garlic mushrooms a starter each an two portions of chips. Before our food arrived we were offered brown bread with it and to our deligate we accepted it. It was amazing and all 3 at the table agreed. We queried the recipe with the lovely lady serving us she explained it is top secret to no surprise. The garlic mushroom were excellent with a lovely salad to accompany it. The chips were certainly home cooked, fresh an yum. Overall we really enjoyed our lunch an would return for sure. Good value also.

I was staying at a local B&B. They recommended this place. Glad they did. I ate here four nights running. A large selection of well cooked pub grub. Excellent friendly service, enormous portions, food orders taken up to 9pm. And the beer is good too.

We called in here while staying in the area for a few drinks and some food. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The Guinness was as good as you will get. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I would recommend if in the area
