My last review for this place I reported it as just ok...... visited again and this time I was really impressed. The beer was still just average to me, but the food was really good! We had a couple beers and a couple appetizers - the Cheddar Jalapeno Tots were amazing! We also had 2 sliders - One Ham & Cheese and one Sloppy Slaw... also very good. We were full after that but the pizza looked incredible and we were heading up the mountain for some skiing the next day, and what makes a better lunch while skiing than pizza? So we ordered one! Half Timberwolf and half Controlled burn - it was a hit reheated mid snow day in our camper! What we didn't try, but wish we had was one of their desserts - they looked so yummy! Guess we will have to go back again.....

Under new management, the experience is getting even better with more option. Known for great fish and chips, but there are now a variety of different main course along with tasty daily specials. This last time we had a Rueban, a tasty pasty and the pork shanks were fabulous.

Stopped here for lunch on our way from Vancouver (USA) to Pateros, WA ... about a 6 1/2 hour trip via US-12 (the scenic route). We were greeted warmly by Kim who was very pleasant & accommodating. She took very good care of us. My wife had a salad which was fresh & crunchy & very good she said. I went for the Bacon Cheeseburger ... DELICIOUS & HUGE! The burger is served with a 1/2 pound of fries that were really good too. We were also able to watch a Mariners game on their big screen/HD tv during lunch (sadly we lost). Not sure when/if we'll make it back through Naches but when we do, we'll stop here to eat for sure. Great service; great food; reasonable prices. AKA: Vans 1885 Bar & Grill
Stopped into the first place we could find that wasn't fast food on the way to the Tri-Cities. Walkabout came up with good reviews. This is an interesting place, more bar than restaurant, but we were hungry and stayed. We were glad we did. The burgers were awesome, with plenty of options to choose from. My wife chose a salad, not generally a choice you'd make at a bar, but she said it was really good. Fresh, cold and well made. Prices were reasonable and the service was very good.

A local hangout with an interesting bar. Great place to mingle and have a drink. We went here with a group of 7 people. I can't recommend the food. Maybe a salad. What ever you order keep it simple and don't expect more. Everyone found the meat tough. The fish and chips were edible but wouldn't order again. The portions are generous...but if the food isn't very tasty who cares how much you get. The service was excellent. If you can eat somewhere else do. They often have entertainment here. Eat first then come here for some music, a drink and fun.
