After asking at Stone & Co for a lunch recommendation that was family friendly we were pointed in the direction of The White Hart Hotel. We are so glad that we were. The outdoor area is beautiful and my husband is very jealous of how green the grass is. Our kids loved having a run around and although we didnt use it there was a fenced in play area. The $12 lunch specials were not only great value but the food quality exceeded my expectations. I had the beef and bacon burger which came on a toasted foccacia and was a delicious. My husband rated the fish and chips quite highly and our kids shared a very generous portion of pasta. If we are ever passing through again we will definitely be going back. I imagine it would be the perfect place for a nice sunday arvo drink!

Royal Hotel Pub & Kitchen

The good news is our bistro meals were good, well-cooked, good value. But the wait time was disappointing... approx. 70 minutes from order. There were four of us, two steak meals turned up after about 30 minutes. The other two meals, one of them steak, arrived 40 minutes after that. During that time we received several visits to our table from staff saying the meals would be out soon - they weren't- one visit from the cook saying the steak type ordered was no longer available. We were told the delay was because it was busy and no-one had made bookings. When I called to ask if they were had a dog friendly area (yes, the outside beer garden smoking area is dog friendly) I also asked should I make a booking and was told no.

Graze Willow Tree Inn

Caught up with friends for a weekend away and stayed at the Willow Tree Inn. Accommodation for the night was in the Pub Cottage and I had the King Room 11 with ensuite which had the comfiest bed ever! We hit Graze for dinner and I had to have one of their award winning steaks, so I tried the New York Striploin, one word, amazing! The night finished off with an affogato then a few more drinks in front of the open fire in the lounge area. The next morning we enjoyed a hot breakfast which is included in the price of the accommodation. The atmosphere, food and staff at Graze are incredible and they always make you feel welcome, so do yourself a favour and put this place on your list for a weekend away.
