Unfortunately, I missed dinner time (9:30pm), but the amazing bartender, Deb, brought me the last tasty, hot, cheese filled soft pretzel, and every draft beer served in a frosty mug - nice. I heard a couple locals mention that since George took over in the kitchen the food has much improved. There were very few people here for a Friday, but everyone treated me like family, which is nice for a solo traveler. Good times!
First time visit and will definitely be back. Service was excellent and the good was fantastic! Highly recommend the steak salad.. Don't think I've had steak that tender, well ever!

Ordered a shrimp Poboy sandwich. Lots of shrimp and fries. Good beer. The place on the upside is non-description and looks like nothing special. The inside is plain but feels exactly like a neighborhood bar. The people are friendly, good choice of beer and large food portions. Don't be shy to try this place out the food will delight you.

Had the Italian buffet a couple of times at Carson's, most recently earlier this month. We arrived before the buffet started. We had the option to order off the menu or wait for the buffet to start. We decided to wait. The salad bar was set up and our server allowed us to start with the salad and soup when it was ready. It helped pass the time.Dinner was good, a nice variety. I will eat there again when I am in the area.
Neat, orderly clean, efficient waitstaff, good food, no...... great food, reasonable prices. very comfortable. you could do a lot worse than this place

I was hungry for a salad bar. I was here a while ago and boy did this place upgrade a ton. Amazing soups and a great salad bar with bread and a little dessert. This coleslaw and potatoe salad was great. The veggies were cut up in small peices. The old leos onoins are the halfed and way to big. These are diced. 3 great soups. I highly recommend this place. A very nice bar and he has all kinds soliders pics on the walls. Great and solid place.

been going her for 10 years, decent food. The portions have gotten smaller, and the price went up. Recommend going to bud murphy cville instead, better deals and food.

It was a little while since we have been here and apparently they changed there menu because they took my boyfriends turkey club off the menu. We always ask for billy because he is good and friendly. He told him that they could still make it so he went with that and I went with my usual cajun killer chicken sandwich. He was a little disappointed with his sandwich said it didnt seem the same and the turkey was sliced different and tasted different so he said he wont be getting that again. He said he will find something else or stick with the salad bar. My chicken sandwich was good as usual and the remoulade sauce was so good. The fries are not my favorite but they are better dipped in the remoulade sauce.
