At a lunch here with a good friend I selected the Caesar Salad and coffee. The salad was one of the better Caesars I have eaten at a restaurant with a dressing that was subtle and really complimented the salad. The coffee was freshly brewed and hearty with refills cheerfully given. The service by waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. The same person who greeted me as I entered the restaurant was there to wish me a good day and to thank me for coming as I left. The restroom is the cleanest of any restaurant I have been in anywhere in the World. My friend had a wrap which came with a cup of fresh fruit and said all was really good. We each asked for boxes for leftovers from the generous portions and were happy to see they are recyclable.I give this restaurant an A+.

Next Door Brewing Company is a locally-owned micro-brewery and restaurant embedded with neighborhood spirit. Great beer & food is what we are about while offering an environment for our customers to enjoy. Our beer is handcrafted in small batches and serv
Pretty slow place on a Monday night. Beer good and reasonably priced. I like you can get smaller glasses other than the almighty pint. It means you can try some new things.

Convenient location just off the Beltline. Adequate parking, it is like two different spaces: inside is a sports bar and outside is a patio over the water. We were there around sunset: no bugs, gentle breeze. Temperature in the 70âs. Great menu. I wanted to order the Greek bowl because it had lamb: next time. Tonight I had a bluegill sandwich and for a small up charge had a ceviche side. Both were excellent. My wife was very pleased with her tuna poke bowl with wasabi mayo on the side. At the table next to us two guys had the special: an enormous portion of meatloaf. We will be back.

Stopped here for our quick dinner on the outside area. Met some friends and enjoyed appetizers (Buffalo fries, curds and chicken fingers) as well as a strawberry monitor. The drink seemed weak with a lot of ice for the charge. Great patio but so so food.

Reviews suggested that the pub had good poutine and indeed it did. It also had an outstanding selection of beer. My wifeâs mac and cheese was excellent, though my mussels broth not great. Overall we really enjoyed it though, possible aided by the superb location next to the Capitol.

Great ambiance with a decent selection of menu items. Drinks are tasty and reasonably priced and the food is a bit pricier for the area but tasty and a bit of something different. It's a cash-only establishment & there's an ATM on-site for convenience.

We ate lunch here with our family of four grown-ups and enjoyed the unique experience. The setting is interesting and decorated with all kinds of diverse items. The service was good, and the food was good, too. We ordered the Mediterranean Plate and the small version of the Wisconsin Meat and Cheese Platter as appetizers. Both were great, and the meat and cheese platter was actually very generous even though we got the small size. For our entrees, we had: 1) the West of the Andes beef sandwich, which my son who lives in Madison declares is his favorite sandwich ever, 2) the Hungarian goulash, which was really a large bowl of soup. Only order this if you like the taste of paprika. It is also served very hot (temperature, not spicy.) 3) Carne Asada was very tasty. Ordered as Medium, it still had a pink center so not like it would be in a Mexican restaurant. 4) the Reuben sandwich is ginormous and is served with some ok potato salad. The Tres Leches dessert was quite good; they were out of key lime pie or we would have tried that. They have some interesting beer as well.Note: We had called ahead because we were there for lunch and were interested in several items from the dinner menu - especially the tajine. We were told they could make nearly everything except the chicken dijonnaise, but that turned out not to be true. Still, we had plenty of good food in a cozy environment conducive to chatting, which is what we wanted. We would go here again and probably try different dishes.

Dotty Dumpling's Dowry is a Madison institution favored by the locals for over 40 years. Located in the heart of downtown, Dotty's offers award winning hamburgers, Friday fish fry, homemade soups and chili, fresh salads and so much more! Cozy up in a boot
I love everything about Dotty Dompling's. The atmosphere is great and everything is really clean. You can just tell it's a well-run operation. The servers are excellent. The food is delicious. The cheese curds are so yummy (especially with the sweet mustard sauce) and the burgers are so good. Perfectly executed. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It's become a must-stop restaurant for us whenever we visit Madison.

Most reviews tell the story. Excellent food, not exactly traditional Wisconsin fare, but just the right touch of crazy. A bit eclectic. The Ahi Poke is really good. Go for it.

We had great fun! Place packed! Long wait for a table (like 1 1/2 hours!) Food good and very reasonably priced. Old fashioned drinks outstanding as we waited at the bar for our table. Great place for all ages but must like to stand around ( or if u are lucky) sit at the bar waiting for food. Once seated food service is pretty quick. Interesting old Madison photos on the walls. Beer bottle chandeliers looked neat. I would definitely good again but would get there as soon as possible to 5 pm on Friday if you want a quick table.
