Kristopherâs was recommended to us by a Matthews doctor we had just met. What an excellent choice. We enjoyed a stuffed baked potato with salad and a chicken, cheese and bacon quesadilla with salad. The food was excellent and served with a smile. Our server stopped by the table to ask if the food met our expectations and a couple more times to ensure we had everything we needed. Two very good lunches and the bill was a little more than $18. How can you beat that?

Locally owned full service restaurant, deli and bar with premium sandwiches and local draft beer. Also full liquor permits and great atmosphere. Featuring Thumanns deli provisions and mostly all else made in house. Awesome fresh buffalo wings, frankfurter
We visited the Charlotte area recently and was looking for a decently priced place close to our hotel one evening. Picadeli's had decent reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our sandwiches. I highly recommend the corned beef sandwich. Also, the prices are reasonable for what you receivewould eat here again on a future trip to the area.

Full service restaurant with a very broad menu. Family friendly sports themed with various evening entertainment options. Separate dining room available for groups or parties.
Wow, what a great atmosphere. Down to earth staff and locals. I have never been so invited to any establishment as a one timer EVER! Just took an open seat at the bar and oh my gosh! I was greeted at the door and once again before i could sit my rear end down. Please, please, please try the wings! Amazing!

Skinnyz offers Alabama's Gulf Coast cuisine in a colorful & beachy environment. A kid-friendly restaurant and a local favorite. We have live music every wednesday, friday and saturday. Skinnyz offers patio seating and sand area picnic tables. There's a bi
Recently they changed things around here and I like it better now. The have live music often, many times much too loud for the size place though (thus the 4 star). I love love music sets, and I am fine with loud music, though when you have to scream to speak to your server its a bit much. Price is a bit high though food is good, portions are decent too.

Great space, especially the fireplace sitting area. But the service constantly is poor, even during non-peak times. Management is to blame. Inexperienced servers are slow and unwilling to help and not being held accountable. Tonight we had to help ourselves by walking up to the bar each time we wanted a drink and to place a food order. Won't be back for a while. Decent food and alcohol, though.
This pub was recommended by a neighbor who frequents the pub often for it's "Pub Food", we didn't realize he meant that literally! Without the bar that served food there was no other reason to go there! It is a small "hole in the wall" that has a bar with oversized flat screens showing sports, different sports on each screen, in this place they were just too overpowering in such a small area! There is a large dance floor situated in the back of the bar which is opened for dancing on weekends.Clearly a old time neighborhood bar as the 10 or so customers there were tightly knit, moved freely among themselves, walking in we felt like we had huge signs on our heads that read "in the wrong bar, you must be lost", not comfortable at all!We loved the food, very basic but delicious! Cost was average, service by the barkeep was good! Just not a place I would frequent!
I'm giving Hawthorns an overall rating of "good". (note; TA ratings are either Average or Very Good....would be great if we had a choice of Good to rate restaurants with....in my opinion, there's a pretty wide span between Average and Very Good)....anyway, back to Hawthorns. Service was very good and friendly. We tried two varieties of strombolies both of which were good....marinara sauce is tasty. You'll be fine with Hawthorns.

My family and I have been here a couple of times. All of the sandwiches are good, weâve had the burgers, reuben, Cheesesteaks, Cuban and my favorite, the French dip. The best thing weâve had tho, are the fried pickles, which are perfectly breaded and cooked perfectly.

A great selection of 48 different craft beers!
We went for trivia and dinner on Tuesday. They also have karaoke on Thursday. The trivia went extremely late due to the restaurants internet being down. Apparently according to other patrons, this has happened before with internet problems. Our food was decent. We had a chicken sandwich which was cooked correctly. A burger which was also good. We split the wings, bbq and xxxhot. The hot lacked heat in my opinion in comparison to the other wing places. They were a decent size. Prices were affordable for beer and food. Overall, I would recommend this place for a fun evening.
