Stopped for lunch while on business in the area. Met by very polite staff and seated promptly in a comfortable booth. Server Kyra was personable and efficient. Ordered lunch combo of soup and sandwich. It was served together and tasted delicious. Portions were modest and just enough for a comfortable meal. Typical Applebee's in layout and menu. Here it is the people who make it special. Even got to talk to general manager who gave me a gift card good for a free appetizer on next visit.

Steve is a magician behind the bar, and the best I've ever seen at his job. I've not had anything but a great experience here. My wife and I come in about 2x a month, usually get some food, which is fine, but we enjoy the people and the staff. It is clean, beer is cold and fresh, and the game is always on. If you like to play slots, good luck, I've seen the entire row of machines in use for hours straight.Thank you for your kind review, StillmanValleyScott! We truly appreciate your kind words about our staff. It's definitely a boost for us every time we hear positive reviews such as this. We will be sure to let them know of your kind words. See you soon!

Stopped for lunch after hiking with some friends. Loved being able to eat on the river. Would be fun to see a band there. I had a BLT and my husband a wrap. All were good and had sweet potato fries that were very good. Good selection of beer. I noticed that they have Tacos on Tuesday as well as other specials . I would love if they would add them to there regular menu as there was not a lot variety to select from. Just hamburgers and sandwiches. Great place!
We used to go here & loved it. They had great food & service. However, the last few times we have gone it has been going downhill. We had given up but Sat. night decided to give it one more try. Shouldn't have bothered. We are now completely done with this place & will not go back. When we arrived around 6:00 there were hardly anyone there but we still sat at the table a long time waiting for what appeared to be the only waitress working to come to our table. Asked her if the special was still ribs & prime rib. She literally had to think a minute about it. Seriously! My husband gets terrible headaches unless he drinks top shelf vodka. He ordered his usual Absolute Vodka Gimlet. I had gone to the rest room while he was ordering drinks. I asked him what vodka he got because I remembered they don't have Absolute there & they always have to tell him the choices. He said she never said anything. Oh oh ~ that's a red flag. Sure enough. I looked & saw the bartender making his drink & told my husband he better go see what he was making it with. Of course bottom of the barrel vodka. Got that corrected. I had ordered a diet coke with a LEMON. Took a long time from the time we ordered drinks to the time she brought them (because remember it was NOT busy in there at all). Did I have a lemon? Nope. I had a LIME. Who does not know the difference. At that point I'd had it. We were there to give them another chance & so far they were batting zero! We said we were not ready to order yet, left our drinks & walked out. They have had more chances than anyone is worth giving. If you want to sit & drink and listen to bands in the summer this is the place. They are packed for that. If you want to go for a dinner & get good service ~ stay away!!!
We were visiting friends from the area and were looking for a restaurant we hadn't eaten at before. We have driven by the Countryview before but never stopped so we thought we'd give it a try. The bar / restaurant is quite large, well lit, clean and quite open. We arrived in the middle of Thursday night BINGO and thought why not join in the fun. The menu is burgers, BBQ and other assorted appetizers and sandwiches. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw. The meat was well prepared and served on Texas toast which I thought was a nice touch. Everyone generally enjoyed their meal but agreed the food selections were not varied enough to call us back. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The BINGO caller is a tad loud so normal conversation is a little difficult.

On a recent trip to Milton, Wisconsin, we arrived too early to check into our accommodations for the evening, so we wandered around town looking for a friendly pub in which to kill some time and have a cold beverage or two. We came across the Junction on Merchant's Row; upon entering, it was like we were back in our hometown bar where everybody knew our name. While we did not eat there, the bartender, waitstaff, and even the other customers were some of the friendliest people we've ever met while on a vacation. We find this typical of many places in rural Wisconsin. If you're in need of a cold one, we highly recommend Jake's Junction Pub!

We were a party of eight hungry hikers stopping for lunch after a vigorous walk on the Storrs Lake segment of the Ice Age Trail in the Kettle Moraine National Forest. It was mid afternoon and the place was almost empty. We asked the waitress for water and icy pitchers were promptly delivered. Each of us ordered a different item from the huge menu. It's not just bar food. The bacon peanut butter burger was interesting and pronounced delicious. I had the brisket sandwich, on a tender bun piled high and with Cole slaw in the bun. The hit was the beet salad side dish. I later asked about how it was made and they gave me the recipe. No complaint about separate checks. The food came out rapidly and we all ate together. It is out in the country so you need to know its there but I want to go back soon. It's a large place and they may have bands on the weekend and a popular Friday fish fry.

Visited for the first time midweek. Not too many customers. We ordered burgers, pizza, and a Buffalo Chicken wrap. Food was good, served hot. The bartender was a one man show serving as bartender, server, and cook. He managed it well and was friendly too!

We enjoy the fish fry at Red Zone frequently. The food is hot and tasty, the beer is cold, and the price is reasonable. My girlfriend had the baked cod and she said it was delicious; I had the fried cod and it was great as always. Its also nice that there are several potato choices to go with the meal.
