The food was delicious both times we dined here. Once for dinner, just before a league had its banquet. Service was great, very attentive. The second time was for lunch, and service was very slow, 45 minutes between order and food served. Far too long for salads and sandwiches, which were good but really? That long, and the place was 1/4 full at best?

We went to the Stoneforge Publick House with friends last Friday. There were only a few other couples there, yet service started out extremely slow. Our drinks took forever to arrive. We had ordered âtwo gin martinis with olives.â They arrived at the table with three olives each- which is completely fine, However, when we got the bill, we found we had been charged 25 cents each for four olives (maybe one came free with each drink?). Iâve never seen such a thing. You would think with their high prices of their food and drinks (the martini was $13), they wouldnât have to try to suck another dollar out of you for olives- ESPECIALLY with such slow service. Weâre not going back.

Traveling at night from Boston out to Cape Cod and the Hungry-meter went off. We found this place from Yelp and it was just in time. What a great place...SUPER friendly staff...FUN atmosphere...and GREAT food. The menu was much more elaborate than we would have imagined...the portions were generous and the pricing was quite reasonable. If you ever find yourself in Middleboro stop by Fisher's Pub and enjoy a wonderful dining experience.

I Stopped in for lunch today and was warmly greeted with a big smile from Shayna who promptly took my drink order.. a minute later I was greeted by Shannon who took my lunch order. The chicken tender sub was very fresh and tasty. I also ordered the onion rings which were cooked to perfection in a delicious light batter that was perfectly seasoned and most importantly void of any traces oil !! Overall value and service get âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸I can't wait to come back!!

We were craving good old fashioned, "Bar Pizza", which is very hard to find now a days with all of the "flatbread pizza" and "brick oven" restaurants around (sometimes a Gourmet Pizza with Gouda cheese, spinach leaves and tomato slices, drizzled with Balsamic Vinegar does not cut it!) So I went on a web search for the best Bar Pizza near us, and finally found what sounded like the perfect place, 40 minutes away. Since it was a beautiful sunny Sunday, and a road trip sounded like fun, we decided to give it a shot. GPS got us there no problem, but the building is behind another one so you can't see it from the road. From the time we walked in the door until the time we left, we felt so welcomed. Very small place but plenty of tables to sit at and not cramped feeling. We sat out in the enclosed porch area, it had a TV and a Keno monitor, very comfortable, nothing fancy, exactly what we expected. The very nice, friendly waitress was very attentive and made us feel like we were friends for ever. Menu is small and limited to Salads, Wings, Stuffed Quahogs, and build your own Pizza's or their own Gourmet Pizza's. Well it turned out to be THEE Best pizza we have had in years!!! We got 3, one Hawaiian, one Liguica and green pepper, and one Bacon and onion. Can not wait to go back and try the "Pot Roast Pizza" and some of the others.

We frequent Baldies about once a week, either for subs or pizza, which are both exceptionally good. Todays pizza was no exception, awesome. But they really need to do something about the girls at the take out counter Unattentive, unintetested and actually gave me a dirty look when I didnt write a tip on my credit card slip.( I have a cash tip). Also, one girl was wearing a shirt that came almost halfway up her midriff. Im no prude, but in a foodservice setting that kind of attire is not appropriate. Still love the pizza, but orobably would increase their business with a better trained takeout staff

We were recommended to the Central Diner. Don't think we would have gone in without recommendation, but it was worth it. Excellent service and atmosphere. Place seemed full of locals which is always a good thing. Pizza was excellent.

Four of us stopped here for lunch. Three of us had the lunch special, two of us had the salmon stir fry, the salmon had nice crisp top and was fresh and went well with the rice--both people said it was very good. One of us had the sweet potato veggie burger, it was very flavorful and delicious. I had the grilled chicken broccoli alfredo, the sauce was creamy and very good, the chicken was grilled perfectly. The portions were very good size. They have a nice beer selection not too large but good craft beer choices. We noticed the bar has a huge whiskey selection, so if you want try some different whiskeys this is the place. The décor is nice and the bar is fairly large. The service was fast and very friendly, attentive but not overly. You do not want to miss this place, we plan to return and maybe try some of that whiskey.

We are visiting the area and looked them up on Trip Advisor.. they deserve their certificate of excellence. The food was excellently prepared and the service was professional. We were served by Nicole who aside from providing excellent service was clearly proud of the restaurant. We may go back tomorrow

Great staff, great food, great drinks. It's great going to a place where you know people and even if you don't everyone treats you like friends. The atmosphere is fun and lively. One of the best local places to visit.
