While we've known about this downtown bar for years, were delighted to discover they serve breakfast too.Excellent sausage, bacon, eggs and honey fries, rye toast and coffee modestly priced, good kitchen attention to detail and cheery service.Thinking of adding Bloody Mary next visit, why not?

My mom & I visited Applebeeâs specifically to try the advertised all you can eat riblets or chicken tenders. This location is in a very nice part of Charlotte called Matthews so excellent service was expected which we did receive. Our waiter was very kind and polite and had a sense of humor when I asked if he had some cornbread to go with my ribs . My mom had fish and chips which were equally delicious and well seasoned, I highly recommend the sweet potato fries without salt, do not get mashed potatoes they are not tasty.

Recently they changed things around here and I like it better now. The have live music often, many times much too loud for the size place though (thus the 4 star). I love love music sets, and I am fine with loud music, though when you have to scream to speak to your server its a bit much. Price is a bit high though food is good, portions are decent too.

I enjoyed my visit her, lots of tasty meal options, I had the Fish & Chips) decent price, not super expensive, a very fun atmosphere, inside and outside seating. I think I was a bit over dressed, go casual, this is not fine dining, but if you are on a budget and just want to enjoy a hot tasty meal without breaking the bank, this is your spot.

We visited the Charlotte area recently and was looking for a decently priced place close to our hotel one evening. Picadeli's had decent reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our sandwiches. I highly recommend the corned beef sandwich. Also, the prices are reasonable for what you receivewould eat here again on a future trip to the area.

The Carolina Beer Temple is not fancy, but it is comfortable and welcoming. There is outdoor seating that faces the charming village-like street, while inside there is a variety of counter-height tables, regular tables, sofas, and bar stools to choose from. The bartenders are friendly, and are helpful to pick just the right craft beer or local brew to satisfy any taste. They will offer tastes before you order, and there are flights of beer available to sample different brews. There is an enormous selection of bottled beers from all around the world, with many different price points and alcohol contents. One thing to note - just like a typical pub in London, this place does NOT serve food. There are a few snack items like chips, but if you want to eat you will have to order takeout from one of the surrounding restaurants. The Carolina Beer Temple welcomes you to order food from outside vendors, and even posts phone numbers for various delivery places on the main chalkboard. I saw a few children in the place during the day, but overall I would say this is not a place for kids, especially at night.

Kristopherâs was recommended to us by a Matthews doctor we had just met. What an excellent choice. We enjoyed a stuffed baked potato with salad and a chicken, cheese and bacon quesadilla with salad. The food was excellent and served with a smile. Our server stopped by the table to ask if the food met our expectations and a couple more times to ensure we had everything we needed. Two very good lunches and the bill was a little more than $18. How can you beat that?
