We were staying a short distance away at Villa Barbarich, saw the reviews on TA and paid a visit. Great food, very simple but that's just what we needed. Brilliant service, really reasonable prices, home made limoncello at the end (for free) which was lovely. Would highly recommend! In fact we liked it so much we visited twice.

We had a dinner with our children in the courtyard and had few paninis. They are wonderful, big And tasteful. Same for the beer , really good choice. I recommend it for casual friend dinner in summer time as you can enjoy the open air tables that's are placed on the square. To try if you like paninis.

Plenty of places to eat in the area but found this gem of a place. Had the Carbonara which was excellent and my wife had the tagliatelle bolognelse, just as good. Service was fantastic and very reasonably priced. 2 mains, 2 deserts, 2 alcholic drinks and water for less than â¬60. Would highly recommend for a good evenings meal.Thanks

We had a dinner at Amburgharia the first night of our stay in Mestre. Overall good place, friendly stuff, creative menu, nice interior. My husband had burger with pork and spinach( can't remember name) and I had tricolore ( vegetarian). His burger was perfect, fresh, tasty, warm. Mine was tasty too but patty was kinda cold and bun wasn't fresh. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. Just when you go there don't take vegetarian one :) Dear Kinga,thank you for your review. We apologize if the vegeterian burger was below your expectations and we are sorry that you did not inform us immediately. We would have made up things right away by changing it :-)Thank you again for your time and advices to improve us and for appreciating our place and service.A greeting from Amburgheria Staff

chi critica un posto come questo non ne coglie l'idea e la filosofia e sicuramente non apprezza la location che NESSUNO può dire essere 'banale'. c'è gente che si alza alla mattina e carica la macchina per poi farsi centinaia di km per stare un po' in mezzo al verde; ecco il punto, in un posto come questo non serve tutto questo sbattimento, perché a qualche chilometro da casa hai a disposizione una vera e propria oasi naturalistica, un'area protetta, un parco naturale! quando arrivi in questo ristopub, perché di questo trattasi (come scritto anche nel loro sito) non puoi e non devi aspettarti una cucina stellata ma di assaporare un buon club sandwich accompagnato da una vera birra, magari una Tennent's super, fuori all'aperto, mentre tuo figlio corre in mezzo ad un prato infinito senza alcun pericolo, che ti sembra quasi di stare in una puntata della casa nella prateria; insomma devi apprezzare la natura e l'informalità della gestione che così vuole che il locale sia, un posto semplice per persone semplici che cercano semplicità senza rinunciare alla sostanza. certo poi il locale è fantastico durante la bella stagione, ma anche d'inverno ha il suo fascino, quando sembra a volte sospeso sopra una sottile nebbiolina e ti accoglie al suo interno con un bel tepore che ti toglie di dosso quella fastidiosa umidità tipica del nostro inverno. se poi sei più esigente, e vuoi di più allora ti prenoti una grigliata di carne da assaporare con gli amici, ed alla fine o durante ti fai una bella partita a calcio balilla, se non addirittura a calcio vero, visto che ti sei portato dietro un bel pallone! insomma ragazzi, un posto VERO per gente VERA, e basta con tutta sta moda per sti master-chef che una volta chiamavamo 'semplicemente' cuochi! W LA SEMPLICITA'... e complimenti a Michele ed a tutto il suo staff! BRAVI ... continuate così!

Nice to find a 'normal' no frills bar. Great selection of beers, bottled and draught, tv screens for football. Good pub food, managed to look through to kitchen, chef very particular, and liked his cleanliness, as did I !! Nice staff and good service, 'but' when its busy, be prepared to wait!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while searching for feed before heading back home to Germany. The owner was so nice! He opened up a bit early so we could come inside. They have a fantastic selection of beer. The place is nicely decorated with beers from around the world that the owner has collected himself! (and from a few travelers). It's so great to find owners/servers who are nice to foreigners, and they were fantastic!
