It was my first time visiting this pub and I didn't know what to expect.I don't eat meat (only fish) but the friends I went with all wanted a Sunday lunch so I said I would just see what they had when I got there. They had a vegetarian option and herb crusted cod so I went for the fish option and I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious and came with amazing roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese, extra boiled potatoes, carrots, peas and courgette. My friends who had the beef had a huge and very generous amount of beef on theirs. It was all cooked really well, there was plenty of it and the service was really good too. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. We all went for a pudding too and they were home made and definitely tasted it. Very enjoyable and I will definitely go back again. I highly recommend especially for those looking for a good Sunday roast.

Love this place, they have features of the old mill. Including ovens and water wheel. The food was excellent good variety great presentation. Recommend the chillie king prawns as a starter and for anyone who likes mussels they where great. Puddings yummy. Our waitress was courteous, patient and efficient. Thanks to the chef. We really enjoyed our experience there.Thank you Jean for your wonderful review. I have passed on your sentiments to the team. I am really pleased you enjoyed your meal. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

This cosy pub in the lush Warwickshire countryside feels like a home away from home. With hand crafted furniture, an array of truly eclectic bric a brac and Oriental rugs, the dining room at The Royal Arms is a popular place for lazy Sunday roasts and par
Went there to attend someone else's anniversary dinner. Too few staff to serve everyone, not just our small pre-booked party, but another 20-odd in the restaurant. I heard there was a bigwig dinner upstairs. Consequently we only had occasional glimpses of 2 staff downstairs to cater for 30+ people. They seemed to get the message once we started to raise our voices and comment about getting no service, no bar staff and no menus.Eventually we were served. We all chose to forego starters as we'd been there a good half hour without even a drink. Entrée was unusually good quality and tasty, although portions were small. Brownie dessert was bone dry. Our party's tip was almost zero, even though we were all well paid professionals because the service didn't warrant any tip.Management can surely do better. 3 out of 10.

We love this pub. The stafff are always welcoming and the food is good and very reasonably priced. We have only been in lunchtimes but they regularly have evening entertainment.

Dropped in here on Sunday afternoon to see if they had any availability for 2 and our Shih Tzu. We were given a table straight away and took our orders for drinks whilst giving us time to peruse the menu. The food and service were absolutely first classic, in fact the best Sunday lunch Iâve had the pleasure of not cooking myself. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed with linen tablecloths and napkins. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and will definitely be visiting again. Absolutely bonus being able to bring the dog.

We were treated to our Sunday lunch for the above day. Roast beef, roast pork and a burger, all very nicely presented and tasty. Desserts were lush. Vegetables were in separate dishes but there wasn't an awful lot for three people. Small portion of cauliflower cheese was separate at £2. extra. The pub was very busy, good selection of beers, friendly staff. Would visit again.
