The place has menu that most places dont have, eg they serve sushi which you dont get in most places. So the dishes are quite unique and nicely prepared too. The ambience is also good. Sunny, who owns this place is generally around and takes good care of the diners. We had slight issue in the order and Sunny apologized and even offered another desert. We would definitely recommend and go again when back to goa.
Was there with my wife. We were looking for a good fish thali for Lunch. Got to know about this restaurant through facebook. Its a little difficult to find.We reached there finally after some hunting. This is restaurant is in a Hotel premises. Nice and quite location in Margao City. The ambiance is casual , fresh, roomy and bright. The staff is nice and courteous. As said before we ordered for A special Fish Thali and A Orrad Thali, and some beers.I got to admit this is one of the best Thali i had. I had authentic Goan cuisine in my plate. The Kismur , Dangar, Bangdyache Lonche were excellent. I got to look around the restaurant. It would hardly have 15 tables, but was very nice and clean, the kitchen is what i liked not cramped like many restaurants, nice open clean and hygienic. The team knows how to keep you happy. Thanks Team Tamarind for the good time.

We called here for lunch in mid November and it was very quiet, no more than a handful of people in. The setting is great, slightly elevated position in an area of the beach that is not over populated with sun beds.We ordered a Caprese salad as a starter to share. When it arrived some 40 minutes later itâs construction was such that it must have taken all of five minutes to prepare. The mains were however the star of the show, both cooked in the tandoor, one fish and one chicken. Accompanied by a vegetable raita and two plain naan it was a veritable feast. We were in the restaurant for just short of two hours and whilst we have no complaints about the standard of food we were none the less perplexed by how long it took when the restaurant was very quiet. I dread to think what it would be like if all tables were occupied. If you are happy to sit calmly (as we did) you will not be disappointed with the food. Two other points to note are that the toilets have a flush and a hand wash basin, and secondly the restaurant DOES NOT accept credit card. This was the first beach shack which did not do so and we were taken by surprise. Fortunately we had enough money to cobble together the bill amount.I donât think we will return here since there is such a lot of competition within a short walk.

Busy place in Borda locality,on the road to fatorda stadium from Margao. Local fare available at reasonable prices. AC ambience, can be quite busy at lunch times. The special thali plate is about 220/- rupees with a kingfish slice and sundries. Refreshments n alcohol is served also. OK for a quick lunch. Service is quite fast.Food and hygiene is OK.

Half a meter away from the beach, view of lush green paddy fields, relaxed atmosphere, multi-cuisine restaurant with seafood and Goan food specialty...
I love local places, they have less ambiance but great food, would recommend prawn curry rice and seafood. Airy and comfortable, the service is with a smile. Located close to the beach, however one does not get a view of beach or field that is nestled in. But the place is calm. Thanks for the review...
