Give me a relaxed welcoming environment serving great food over a uptight fancy pants restaurant serving overpriced food every time. Star Pizzeria did not disappoint. Here I will say that it's everything that makes it great. The chill bar with lots of tables, tv's, locals, cheap beer, and good food. We ordered a plain and pepporni pizza. The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and tasty. It was good in a thin crust bar style pizza is good. Would I go back just for the pizza? Probably not but if someone wants good food, cheap drinks, and a casual atmosphere. Star Tavern is a great spot.

An American Gastro tavern, serving a twist on Modern American fare in a warm, upscale and inviting atmosphere.
Perfect! Good food and fast service. Two thumbs up on the Fig Pig Flatbread. Salmon portion a bit small but perfectly prepared. Nice tavern setting with al fresco didnât ning available on Main St.Thank you for your review, we always strive to better ourselves everyday and provide a great experience, we look forward to having you return!

But this one has my vote. Friendly owner, slow staff but delicious varieties of a multitude of coffees. Also have great large assorted flavor scones. Perfect in store, but does not reheat well the next day. Plenty of room to chill, breast feed a little one (yes) or surf the internet. No one rushes you to leave.

Southern-style menu coupled with great jazz music, some evenings live, and great cocktails make this a phenomenal place in South Orange village. Located on busy Valley Street, you need to find street parking or walk from one of the parking lots closer to the train station. The decor is very tasteful and the service is wonderful. With a great selection of foods, both for those who prefer small plates to those who want a larger meal, this place is the real deal!

If you're one of those people who want to watch sports while you eat good food then you can't go wrong at Bunny's. There are screens everywhere so you won't miss out on any game. Meanwhile, the garlic salad is fantastic and HUGE. It's for at least 2 people so keep that in mind when you order it. And it's chock full of pepperoni, cheese, veggies, etc.The pizza is terrific. I love the dough especially. The service was good as well.

Leave it at that and you'll be fine. Really just a place for drinking and bar grub. Other tries on the menu were whiffs. Nice staff.

There is nothing inviting about the storefront or the inside of this neighborhood spot. Do not be deterred. The food is terrific. The ingredients are fresh and prepared to order. Order a wrap, a bowl, a smoothie. They are all great. We had the Mozzerella chicken wrap, Ultimate Turkey burger wrap, and the Chicken breast bowl w/ Kale. They were all spectacular. Accompany your meal with a smoothie. we really enjoyed the Cookie in a cup, Mixed berry Mantra, & Spicy Icy. Everything we ate was fresh and flavorful.

We decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The place is modern with a nice vibe. The branzino was excellent..didn't really like the the side vegetables. We also had the duck confit which was good but not great. It's a very small portion and I didn't understand why they served a medium boiled egg with the dish. The Presecco was not a great quality for $12. The dessert apple pie with caramel icecream was fantastic. I felt that the restaurant as a whole was very expensive and things were over priced. The service was decent but on the slow side.

We ate here while staying with friends in Maplewood, which is a very pretty town. Food was good. My husband had the Chicken Goujons, I had the crock of Mature cheddar and crackers. We also had a very good Marlborough at a reasonable price. Went back the next day for more!
