At short notice the management arranged for us a surprise party and it worked well to cater to a 50 odd guests. We could also find space for beach party games and it turned out to be memorable.

Very dull and dark ambience, no special food, very slow service and staff was very casual and not concerned. We did not understand why this place is so highly rated. The ambience itself killed it for us. Not a place I would recommend for sure. WiFi was extremely bad too.

Hi All,I am starting reviews to make you feel happy about this place ...nothing to worry...we arrived at this place sharp 4:30 pm in the evening and we we're happy to see sunset of this place ...it's feel amazing...this place earlier it was sunset ashram..they changed the name in por do Sol means also a sunset..but as per compair to quality of the service and food it's amazing,Nice pool for kids , my kids enjoyed a lot they are providing towel as well which is free of cost...just you have to spend 500rs per seating..we tried lots of itmes from the menu I loved chows special and tandoori mushrooms...both were nice...Service as per compair to other outlet in Goa ... pretty awesome and decent...all of the staff member are smiles faces...We are traveling to arambol we saw this place as sign board...we moved out and checked in to this place...From the entrance we feel like heaven...Surely this place good and decent place as of now...I my openion...Thanks and cheers to staff of por do Sol for good arrangements...of visit...see you soon

We were staying in La Cabana n decided to search for a place to celebrate our anniversary. Thanks to Sunset Ashram we got this place which was just 200mtrs away must say beautiful ambience along with great music n tasty food.We had a good quality time over there n enjoyed our evening. We tried this place for lunch but it was disappointing, the food was rather tasteless and bland and service very slow. I acknowledge that everything is cooked from scratch but we had to repeatedly ask for drinks etc. Wouldn't bother to go back.

We decided to go here for dinner on account of their few but stellar reviews on TripAdvisor. And boy, were we let down. What should have set the alarm ringing in my head was the fact that I was handed a menu even before we were seated and told to take it with me to my table. The place was quite dark but the candle was not lit. My drink was served with 2 half melted cubes of ice already in the liquor and my request for more ice was met with a snide "there's already ice in the glass". Our pizza was served without any plates or cutlery. All this while the captain and the waiter were fawning over a Caucasian couple seated next to us. The situation improved a little when the owner (or maybe manager) asked us if we were comfortable. The ice for my drink finally arrived but in a glass which presumably I was supposed to scoop out with my hands. By the time my request for tongs was fulfilled, my drink was over. We finished the pizza, gave the captain a piece of our mind and left without leaving a tip. 2 stars on account of the location and the very nice pizza.

Phone number does not exist. No signboard of the place, could not locate it.anywhere in Ashvem. Spent half hour checking with locals but to no avail. Top rated restaurants in Ashvem - LaPlage, Elevar and Shanti Tree could not be located.We are moved to the Arambol. Sorry about wrong address in Trip Advisor, we are in process to change it
