Beachfront bar, with good draft "Cruzcampo" beer, and with great variety of well prepared tapas to share.Mostly regional locals, and pleasantly crowded over the entire year.Bar desk and cocktail tables. Not really seating (some tables indoor).A place for a chat, a drink, some tapas & finger food, with a good view what goes on at the beach and walk.Nice staff (practice your Spanish)..Rather dress in flip flops than tie.Price & value is fine.

We moved to the area a couple of years ago, and this venta (along with Venta Luis) is one of our local bars. Very pleasant atmosphere, good food, and the owner (Miguel) is a great guy. Well worth the visit if you are in the La Brena area.

The famous Bar Saboy was our first place to visit while in Zahora and what a wonderful find. It was not too busy for lunch. We were served instantly and told the kitchen was open. We chose from an excellent selection of food and had Fried Boquerones, small fish and a variety of Moroccan salads. The food was prepared fresh and was delicious.The service was friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We went go again in the evening as Friday night is a chance to chat in Spanish and then for any aspiring musicians to enjoy playing together. We had two of the Indonesian dishes which were superb although the rice was a bit cool.

Live music all weekend, bbq terrace, good shadow; cool beer & the best mojitos & cocktails with the mediterranean foods: seafoods; vegetarian, meats & handmake tapas in pleasant atmosphere just opposite of the beach, with parking.

This is a family affair. The owners brother has done all of the lovely wood carved bar himself. Her Dad, has painted the art for the walls. This is a simple little cafe, but it has a lovely gentle, friendly feel. The menu is simple, but good. They do a great big warm chicken sandwich and lovely salads. So not a gourmet venue, but perfect for a lovely, lazy, relaxed lunch. All served with a genuine smile and easy music.ohhh¡¡¡ muchÃsimas gracias¡¡¡ os recuerdo perfectamente "una pareja muy muy agradable" es un placer atender a personas como vosotros¡¡¡ un abrazo¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

There is no denying that Meccarola is located beautifully at the top of a cliff overlooking a beautiful beach. It is also important to note that their tuna and cheese skewers, gazpacho, salmonero, and fried quid were amazing. However, I feel, and prepare yourselves, to pay through the the nose. The prices are a bit too high for hat things are. At the end of the meal you have enjoyed the food, but basically ate at a beach bar. The service was nothing more than good and they did not pretend to serve you with anything other than a beach bar quality service, so why the lofty meal prices. I will likely return because we spent our honeymoon in this town, and this establishment and its sister bar/restaurant is the better part of quality service in town, but I will hope that the cost return back in line with the type of service being offered.On another positive note, it is important to note that the decor is both artistic and cutting edge. The balance of style and ambiance is scone to none.A can't miss if you are in Los canos de Mecca.
