Reviews on Pub food in Loch Ness, Scotland, United Kingdom. With depths reaching 700 feet and a length of more than 20 miles, Loch Ness provides plenty of hiding places for its legendary monster. Should you tire of searching for Nessie, this scenic section of the Scottish Highlands also delivers charming villages like Drumnadrochit and Fort Augustus, open-air Shakespearean productions, multiple golf courses and medieval Urquhart Castle. Wildlife of the non-mythological variety and ancient Caledonian pine forests can be found in the Glen Affric nature reserve.

What a joy! Came here for lunch for my Mum's birthday and she (and I) were so uplifted by the warm welcome, the lovely waiter who guided us through the menu and gave us great recommendations -- with his cheeky smile and humour, and the wonderful food. You do Inverness proud. This is our new go-to eatery and drinkery. Can't wait to come back for the music too.Hi Sam, absolutely delighted to read this. We have a great team in the bar and reviews like this do so much to keep the spirits high! Hopefully see you soon!

Centrally located, just along from the popular Hootananny pub, this bar has an open plan style and a very large selection of their own and other beers. Not having tried any of their brews before I asked the barman for advice and once he had narrowed down the options he was happy to provide small tasters of three different ones for me to try. The pint I selected was very good. The crowd at the time of our visit was mostly male dominated and there were plenty of pizzas being delivered to the tables to soak up the beer however the atmosphere was pleasant enough and my wife felt quite comfortable having her G&T.Looks like it would be a good place for a drink and a blether... and a pizza if you're peckish.Hi there,Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I'm really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit to us. It's great to hear that you found the atmosphere to be so pleasant, and I'm happy that our bar staff managed to help you find a delicious pint.We hope that you will come back to visit us, and maybe try the pizzas too.All the best,Cat

A fantastic venue for all occasions set within the beautiful town of Inverness. We cater for all parties and bookings. Be sure to sample our fantastic cocktail menu and excellent food range.
Popped in here last Sunday for some drinks and a bite to eat. Found the drinks to be really good value for money as there was an offer on. Everything was well presented and the restaurant/bar was nice and clean. Food was good and without a huge wait. We were served by Kierian who was friendly, professional and efficient (as were other members of staff including the other girls who greeted and sat us/served us drinks).

We were traveling from Skye back to Edinburgh at the end of a week in the Highlands. Beginning to wonder where we were going to eat when the Cluanie appeared. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere in the middle of gorgeous wild scenery. Thanks for the review. Glad to note that you enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at Cluanie!

After a long road trip we were looking for a place to eat. The Pub serves food until 8:30 PM which was perfect for us. While not a culinary masterpiece, we had some Cajun Spiced Chicken and a Salmon (with an excellent salad). The food was fresh and tasty. Pub service (pay at bar they bring to table). A few cask-conditioned ales as well.

Benleva Hotel Restaurant focuses on warming Scottish meals, with a fantastic specials selection. We are available for Breakfast to Non-Residents between 8am and 10am. Lunches are served between 12pm and 3pm and Dinners between 5pm and 9pm.
Excellent food on both visits. Lunch time staff was excellent. 10/10 Night staff let the place down. Mixer was flat in my drink and the Guiness poured too quickly. Staff could take lessons from day staff. Value for money and pleasant atmosphere on both visits

We visited on a very hot day and this was the quietest of the places around the canal. I had scampi and chips my husband fish. It was served very quickly too quick for it to be fresh. It was plain pub grub the side salad was a nice addition but itâs not a gastro pub if youâll looking for plain pub food this is for you if you want something special eat elsewhere

Weâve visited the Loch Ness Inn several times over the years. We love the ambience of the place, and the service is always perfect, super-friendly. Tonight we felt the food was perhaps not quite up to itâs usual standard, and itâs rather expensive actually. It IS a huge tourist destination area though and I would charge a premium if I ran a restaurant there too, so fair enough. The meat in the steak & ale stew was beautifully cooked but very over-seasoned. Chips were small and over-cooked. Others in my party said the food was âfineâ, but it was a lot better than fine the last time we were there. Coconut panna cotta didnât have much flavour at all, Iâm not sure it had sugar as an ingredient at all? You did get some sweetness from the mango sorbet which came with it. All in all, just a little bit disappointed tonight with the flavours & some of the execution. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed by your recent visit to the Loch Ness Inn, I have passed your comments onto the kitchen.
