Things to do in Littlehampton

There are several pubs in Littlehampton and in the four we tried , there were none that we particularly cared for as all of them seemed to be inhabited by people whoâd been drinking all day which was reflected in the noisy drunks and shouty teenagers we ran across outside. Maybe Monday is the wrong day to be in Littlehampton. This serves some decent beers and has friendly enough staff but the solitary drinkers and workers in dirty work clothes banging on about putting people in casualty is a turn off.

new bar / Restaurant, great location, over looking the river.Friendly staff, good food, all ways made to feel welcome
Went for a drink with the family on a hot day, ordered a pint of draft lager, draft cider and 2 small orange squashes with tap water, cost £16.40 when I ask for a price list she said they didnt have one. Nice place, strange decor but horrendously over priced drinks, felt like I had been ripped off.

The place was empty on a Wednesday lunchtime probably because it is a drinking pub not a foodie establishment. But all 3 real ales were on top form and there was a real cider also available. We drank Harveyâs Sussex Bitter plus a bitter from Hardys and Hansons and another containing sloe gin. The landlady also gave us good advice of where to have lunch.

Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Nice decor inside. Nice sunny beer garden outside. Child and dog friendly. Loads of boardgames to play whilst waiting for food. I had one of the best steaks I've had for a while, beautifully cooked with a lovely peppercorn sauce. Also came with loads of chips. Really reasonably priced. Very nice thanks. We'll be back!

The Lamb Inn is famous for flame-grilled food and sizzling skillets. All of our steaks are 28 days matured and there's nowhere better to get a pint when the football's on! We offer a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, unbeatable value and a great place to

There is an instant welcome to this charming village pub, excellent staff, perfect pints and a great menu. Have been to their beer festivals, also summer solstice with a Morris troupe to entertain. As the evenings draw in and temperature drop, the open fires and warm welcome are perfect for a relaxing drink or meals with friends

Meal was no better than OK... lovely Selsey crab not improved by a slick of cream slurry described as Bloody Mary sauce - anaemic rather than bloody. Side salad came with a dollop of commercial sort-of coleslaw and bread was wrapped sliced. Could do better. Service was friendly, swift and the views from the restaurant are lovely.

The Lamb at Angmering, is a grade II listed Hotel and Gastro Pub dating back to 1775. It was closed in September 2011 and relaunched in April 2012. Purchased from Punch Taverns by the Newbon Family, The Lamb is back in private hands for the first time in
If you haven't visited The Lamb at Angmering, then you really must, but definitely advisable to book. Excellent menu, wine list and specials board with highly professional staff. I usually have one of the specials but tonight I had the fillet of beef, undoubtedly the best I've had in a long time, and the salted caramel tart was delicious. Each time we visit, I try to find a downside .... complete fail!

Arundel's very own proper burger restaurant serving burgers, beers, cocktails and shakes.
We went in for an evening snack, having had a generous lunch. The food was interesting, but no real beer: lots of lagers, ales etc, but no beer, that is to say, made using Hops (which to me, defines a beer). They did have one, but it had run out...
