A good place to drink after a show at the Theatre Royal. The prices are reasonable and they play music and have TVs on too - to watch sport mainly. A variety of seating options and they have eightball tables.

A good choice for a drink, a meal or a bed in a great location for Salamanca Market, Battery Point meanderings. Galleries galore, cafes, and bars. We visited after an exhibition for a meal. We chose the scallop special as it is the season now. I chose the curried version which was a little overpowering for such a delicate fish and I love my own better. However my husband had crumbed and was very happy. Both were presented beautifully and great value with accompanying soup, and a glass of wine.

Welcome to Botanica Bar and Restaurant Salamanca Hobart . Situated in a transformed Georgian Sandstone Warehouse, inspired by the beautiful surrounds and mystique of Salamanca, Botanica features the best of our local distilleries, breweries and delicacies
On our recent trip to Hobart we visited Botanica twice. Great wines...the house pinot gris and house pinot noir (Icon) were fab. Small plates shared included calamri, fat chips and aioli, popcorn chicken with chilli...all fresh, perfectly cooked and great flavours. We were there on a busy Friday night..table outside..lots happening, a great spot to people watch and enjoy a drink or two. Prices reasonable ...this one is a must in Salamanca!

Soooo.... well well! What can I say but this is my most favourite place in Hobart!!!Go here if you like to chill and arenât wanting a fancy restaurant type of night. Donât go here if you like to be rowdy.Itâs alternative, artistic and grungy.Perfection!Great craft beer selections and spirits The food is sensational - Husby had the Holy Cluck burger, I had the buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce and sweet potato fries. I got to be honest I was a bit jealy of the burger choice. The atmosphere is so interesting with a bus outside and a coffin inside with amazing photographic framed prints. Home away from home (coffin was a bit on the weirder side), amazing!Iâll be back 100%

Real Food, Real Music At the Duke we love to share the best of Tasmania. So we source our food locally, our artwork is local, as are our musicians, and our extensive collection of Tassie Gins and Whiskys. Live music every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and
The food was really bad. The food was overpriced - you are paying upscale restaurant prices for pub food. The bartender was nice but some woman or manager was just rude and didnât seem to have service industry background. Not friendly. Very busy on wed trivia nights. The most brightly lit blues bar Iâve ever seen. Seems to get good reviews but I donât understand why - maybe because it has no competition and is trying to be everything at once? The music is good. I recommend donât go - but if you do go for the music/trivia night but not for the food and not for the service . Awful

Beer battered fish of the day with chips and salad was beautiful. Salad was fresh and well seasoned. Chips were crisp and fish perfect. The Wagyu Beef was not so good. It was tough and showed no marbling. I wondered if, indeed, it was Wagyu. When mentioned to the waiter it was tough, he seemed surprised and said it was sous vied, so it shouldnât have been tough. The vegetable which accompanied the beef were delicious.

The Beltana recently underwent a major upgrade and is fast becoming renowned for its premium quality dining and service. The restaurant is certainly filling the gap in the Eastern Shore market for good food, good wine and great service. This exciting venu
We had a family meal there recently, having been before. The service is efficient and the meals both very nice in taste and plentiful. There is also a Kids Menu which is welcome. Both food and alcohol prices were very fair,
