Reviews on Pub food in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. Named after Abraham Lincoln, this state capital is a great place for children, history buffs and outdoor enthusiasts. Soak in the panoramic view of the city from the observation tower of the 400-foot high capitol building, whose white stone Art Deco spire can be seen from miles around. Then take a tour of the building and its grounds, where you'll find a Lincoln monument created by the same artist who sculpted the famous Lincoln statue in Washington, D.C. While you're on a history roll, visit the Governor's Mansion, whose Georgian Colonial exterior belies the varied architectural styles inside, and be sure to see the collection of dolls representing the state's first ladies dressed in their inaugural gowns. Kids will love the Folsom Children's Zoo & Botanical Gardens, where they can circle the zoo in a miniature train and see over 300 animals living among spectacular gardens. For some outdoor fun, head to one of the city's beautiful parks, the largest of which is Wilderness Park, whose hiking, biking and equestrian trails will keep you on the move for hours.

My husband and I were in Lincoln for our first time last month, for a collegiate event. We had eaten in the fun Hay Market area the evening before, at another bar and grill. So, we went back the next day for lunch and tried somewhere else. It was a nice day so we sat outside on their large, casual patio. Great atmosphere out there and I noticed some walkers and cyclist had also selected it as their lunch place. I had the chicken taco salad and my husband had the reuben. We both thought the food and service was good. Nothing stellar, but good. There weren't many people there and we weren't rushed, fortunately, I thought the atmosphere, especially with the world cup going on, was really fun. Loved all of the screens and it seemed like all the patrons were enjoying just hanging out there. The beer selection is vast, and if I was a beer drinker I may have enjoyed it more in terms of that. Not bad. Probably better as a bar vs. a grill. Just not as great as it could be in my opinion.

We called on a Sunday and they were able to get a group of 20 in right away. They were planning to sit us together but another large group wasnât leaving when we got there. They spilt us into two groups which was fine with us. The waitresses were super and everyoneâs bills were accurate considering some families were split between two tables. The food is good bar food. Everyone was happy with their meals. They have a few gluten free options and the manager went above and beyond to make sure my sister could find something to order. The pretzels and quest appetizers were delish. My only complaint is I didnât love their Bloody Mary.

This bar has everything. Delicious food. Friendly atmosphere. Very sports oriented. They have daily specials that bring in a great crowd. You have everyone from people who live in the neighborhood to sports enthusiasts & people passing through on Highway 2. I always get the specials, they are always delicious. I would recommend their wings, their nachos and chicken salad. I have never had a bad meal here. They are even open on Sunday for breakfast. If you havenât been here, give it a try!

Five Irishmen went for food and drinks after a long drive. Excellent friendly service from bar staff and waitress. Good selection of beer on tap and bottles. Food was decent, pizza good, steaks were good too. Fun was had when an Irishman had his first experience of 'gravy' on a chicken steak. However, an educational experience had when it came to the jack's, urinal and bowl in the same little room. Weird. Overall a good little spot and worth a visit.

Lincoln, by my view, is not a strolling city. Very little street level retail except by the University. So, I was glad the Marriott had a decent food venue (stayed at the hotel). Bar is lively and has many local beers on tap. Service is good. Menu is not extensive or adventurous, but solid bar food and sandwiches. Chicken tenders were frozen, I think, but tasted good. Pesto chicken salad was tasty and fresh. The bar pretzel was the surprise of my visit--big and good dipping sauce. It was a great accompaniment to my bourbon. Overall, decent food, nice clean place and not expensive.Thank you for taking the time to review Miller Time Pub & Grill! We are glad you stayed at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel and were able to swing into our restaurant. We are delighted you enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere. We look forward to hosting you again soon.

An innovative craft beer and wine inspired brewpub that builds on our family's SchillingBridge brand est. in 2005. SchillingBridge Cork & Tap House is a unique destination that straddles the lines between bar and restaurant and brewery and tasting room. W
We stopped in on our way through town on our way back to Chicago. We sat outside on their beautiful patio. We ordered the beer bread and cheese (do yourself a favor and get this with an extra cup of cheese), I had the citrus Belgium (delish!). My husband had the shrimp scampi and I had the southwest salad. Both were very good! Our 2 year old had the Mac and cheese and he said it was good too. Andie, our server, was wonderful! She was attentive but not hovering and was very friendly. She was very accommodating to us while we were there. Hope to stop in next year on our yearly trip to Yellowstone!Weâre so glad you found us and enjoyed your time at SchillingBridge! We almost need a separate kitchen to make our beer cheese in as it is a favorite of most all of our guests . Iâll pass on the compliment to Andi and weâll look forward to your visit next year!

It had been years since I tried Isles Pizza. Stopped here for pizza and beer and ordered Leaning Tower of Pizza...Great pepperoni and other meats as well as slightly spicy. This is just the perfect pizza and wish we had one back home. Beers were good, too, but just the same you can order anywhere.

We were pleasantly surprised with HopCat with its amusing decor and vast array of beers on tap. We had come from another pub nearby whose beer selection was limited and whose burgers had bizarre and unappetizing flavors. Josh was our extremely helpful waiter who knew the beers and provided good advice. I had a flight of 3, 2 of which were excellent. I had the Buddha Bowl, which was vegetarian and delicious. My husband's burger was perfectly prepared and scrumptious. Definitely recommend HopCat, a standout in this neighborhood filled with pubs..

Because it was our first visit we were a little unsure on whether we were to seat ourselves or not. We spotted the written info just as the friendly bartender greeted us and directed us. Our food was good, no complaints there. However, our server was not interested. I am not sure if it was her general disposition or if it was just with us. She never inquired on whether everything was ok. Other servers seemed engaged and even greeted us. It won't keep us from eating here if we are in the area again, but we would hope for a different server. There are plenty of other choices in the area to try!

Creative comfort food. Hand crafted beer. High quality service in a casual atmosphere.
Perfect eatery if you want big steak, fish or chicken or a smaller meal. I had the steak and it was outstanding. Great for families. Comfortable atmosphere and casual dining. Not cheap but reasonably priced for dish size.
