now this is a really relaxed place very casual they have excellent food and every week they have a changing menu. Always friendly people and in the summertime you can even sit outside. Not too many tables so during rush hours it might be handy to make a reservation.

Conclusion; go there you will be surprised ! Read why; We went out with friends, it was quit on the Wednesday night. But the server was very very hospitable and friendly. He gave us very good suggestions, we were doubting about the wines. Since often wines at a all you can eat are not really good, we wanted to taste one. The server was absolutely in for this. We had two different ones, both of them were good quality and had quality labels. They tasted very nice. We ordered a three course menu, which was very good. Especially the ribs were so tender ! During the main course, he was very sharp when we ran out of side dishes to refill them. Overall, I would advice you going here !

A friendly bar that serves good food late, also on weekdays when many restaurants in Leeuwarden close their kitchens early. The beer selection is great and if you like whiskey, this is probably among your best option in town. The waiters are attentive and have an enjoyable, dry sense of humour. Often there is live music, sometimes they also organize a pub quiz.

You can sit outside in a beautiful part of old Leeuwarden or inside with the Irish relics. Staff is friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed.There is lots of beers, beside the Kilkenny and Guinness different Begian beers, great choice. Restaurant part is not to complex but tasteful. Nice place to spend some time.

We were almost starving when we spotted this place on a corner. My criteria was that it looked nice, AND they spoke English. My husband ordered Apple Pancakes and a beer- Heineken of course! The food took a long time almost 40 minutes, and it wasn't that busy. I think that's how it is- everything here is slow! I had Mustard Soup and a Grilled Chicken Salad, both excellent. We would go back on our next trip!

This is a GREAT place. The food is super and the music selection is fab.Great atmosphere for friends or family. Especially nice in summer when there is open air seating in the rear of the restaurant.The menu is quite simple when it is given to you. Build your hamburger. You select the type of bun (5 types), which type of hamburger (6 types), which toppings (12 types), sauces (8 types) and side dishes (7 types) you would like. A custom built hamburger.The last time I was there I had the traditional bun, beef burger and fried egg. It was GREAT!! My daughter who is vegetarian had no problems with a veggie burger spiced up with all sorts of toppings and sauces. The selection of local beers is excellent.I always leave this place with a smile. I highly recommend this place!!

The manager is a very friendly guy, works very hard to keep everything flowing and gives a lot of encouragement to his staff, friendly chat with the customers. The waiters are very friendly , big smiles just a little slower than in a regular restaurant. We had a chicken salad. A big plate of fresh well seasoned veggies with a generous amount of lovely warm spiced chicken pieces.A great combination of sweet,sour, spiced, warm ,cold .The brownies were great. Relaxing lovely meal.
