What a great surprise this stop was. We shared the Polish platter for two and were thrilled. Pierogi's, smoke sausage, saurkraut, golumbkis and potato pancakes. Wow, what a meal. Went back on a Friday for the fish fry. One of the best I've had lately. Only problem was the german potato salad, which was too sweet for me. We will be back.
As far as corner pubs are concerned, this is your stereotypical stop. Great pub to grab a beer or some finger food. Service is friendly, beer is cheap & food is fine for a evening munchie attack.Been there 4 or 5 times. 3 of those occasions an argument occurred, once leading to a fistfight!Reminded me of my college days! But that was very late & honestly, it was more like 2 drunk guys who had way too much to drink & became best friends after. So, not the place to take your girlfriends parents the first time you meet, but a great place after a softball game for some beer & wings.

I don't know who said these are the best wings but the best wings are never breaded the flavor was not very good and I was so disappointed. I was pretty excited to try these but was overly disappointed.

This is a great restaurant for dinner with a group of people. We had family in from out of town and between the popcorn and the good selection on the menu everyone was happy including the kids. Our waitress was amazing(Breanna I think?) and we all loved her as well as the girl that kept our table cleared. We have always had such friendly service and the kids love the token they get after dinner.Family friendly. YES! Large menu. YES! Reasonable prices. YES!If you are looking for a non-franchise, local restaurant to patronize this is the place to go. It's lively and friendly and just a good place to go!

I'm surprised this place isn't more well known. They serve HUGE 12oz burgers for $8.29 with so many fries that you have to eat a bunch just in order to get to your burger. They have specialty burgers like the Big Blue (blue cheese crumbles), Big Nut (peanut butter, it's one of my favorites and way better than you would think), and another one that has roast beef on it.They have a pizza and wing special for $8 (ask for the wings extra-crispy if you like crispy skins). Plus they have Southern Tier IPA on tap.Highly recommend you check this place out, the interior is a little worn out and it can be pretty hot during the summer, but the food is completely worth it.

Ripa's Restaurant has been welcoming friends and neighbors for over 60 years. Ray and Ennio continue to reflect the Ripa family tradition of bringing people together with wine and fine food, still prepared from traditional family recipes, served in a warm
My family went there for dinner this week and had another great meal. For the first time, I had the eggplant Parmesan, which was undoubtedly the best eggplant Parm I've ever had! One of my kids had the pork chops, which are always top notch, and my other son had the Angus burger. The chef was even able to prepare a dairy-free chicken dinner for my wife, who is allergic to dairy.A shout-out to Sandy our waitress, who did an excellent job!!

Frank's Grilled is located 1/2 mile East of Central Avenue near the corner of Bowen Road in the center of Lancaster
We met with friends out for lunch on the patio at Frank's Grille. We tried the featured specials: shrimp tacos and grilled pineapple chicken sandwich. Everything was very tasty. Portions were big so we brought two tacos home. The service was quick and friendly. We had a beautiful day, and we thought the patio was great. We'll be back in the fall to try the indoor tables.

On a roadtrip, this had great reviews so we got off the turnpike(also avoided some traffic). Quick weekday lunch-steak salad & our steak, meatball sandwiches were great. Eldest child loved the homemade dressings. Youngest had pizza which was just ok- I would suggest ordering something else; really wanted to try the wings. Full barThank you for the 5-Stars and kind words. I am glad you enjoyed. John bakes the bread every day! Salads are my favorite. Sounds like you are from out of town...Hopefully we will get to see you again. Best Regards, Laurie.
