I have dined at Niniâs when they were at Lake Alfred, FL, Bartow, FL, and Lake Wales, FL and their food and service has always exceeded expectations and my expectations are high. I especially enjoy the Herb Burger Basket and Ham Steak, eggs, and home fries. They opened at Lake Wales in July 2018 so ignore any reviews prior to that date, I cannot understand how anyone could give them less than 5 stars. If you want a great meal served at serene location Niniâs is the answer. I highly recommend this exceptional restaurant.

Went to have fajitas and fried cheese - only place in Lake Wales that can make fried cheese correctly. Except, this particular night they came out cold. Wait staff was catering to people who came in after us, brought them beers before even acknowledging our presence. I had to call the restaurant to place my order and get any service. I could almost understand this if they were packed, but the place was only half full. Then, it took a good 45 minutes before food came out. Didnât even get a plate to make my fajitas on! The beer table waited longer for theirs. The manager came and replaced the cold fried cheese and was very nice. Beefâs LW has got to fix the poor service issue - this was not an isolated incident with having to wait and wait for food.

Got the blackened fish with shrimp. It was $13 and change for 1 piece of smothered fish. For $3.59 more I got 4 small pieces of grilled shrimp that were only partially cleaned. Every piece had shell on it. The fish wasn't seasoned nearly enough to even hint at being blackened. The broccoli tasted fresh and was very good.
