Tourists aren't likely to stumble upon this place accidentally, so I'm glad we used trip advisor. It's downstairs, and bigger than you'd think. I had beef medallions and my partner had chicken. I added grilled veggies and he added fried cheese. Good serving sizes, quick and friendly service. English menus.
We had a great time here. The burger was outstanding and huge. The chips on the side the same They kept the place open for us then plonked a bottle of black currant wine down on the table. Its dangerous stuff. Drinker beware.

This is a pub restaurant not fine dining. However, our meals were excellent and really good value for money. The wine and beer was good and we were fortunate that we also visited when there was some excellent live music. Our waitress was excellent and helped with the translation.

Golem Brewery is the oldest brewery in Košice. It is also one of the oldest breweries in Slovakia. Founded in 2002, beer is light and dark and seasonal beer.
- Not the best place for lunch but it's a nice pub/bar- They serve their own beer- Near city center- Cheap prices - Food was ok, average- English speaking staff, English menu- Nice Golem statue- Drunk people at the bar in the middle of the day

First impressions were that it was very dark but staff welcoming and furniture and fittings very rustic. Large tables with benches add to the atmosphere, overlooks Main Street adds to the viewing. (If you get a window seat!)Ordered the home made duck pate starter with toast and chutney which was excellent. Followed by the pork in black beer 750grams for the two of us. The meat fell off the bone and was plenty for the two of us. As with most restaurants here the prices are brilliant for the portions and quality of the food.We are back in October and will definitely return. Can be a little difficult to find so don't give up, it is at the end of the courtyard on the left.

This is the biggest beer places in Kosice, located close to Hilton Hotel on the side street in the city centre. Open daily. Also lunch menu available. If you are craft beed addicted, you will love it. They have great selecion of the local craft beer from Kosice /try for example any of PADRE CRAFT/, from Slovakia, Czech Republic and other countries around.Besides great beer they serve quality food and all other kind of drinks. Taste one of the burgers! The kitchen is open quite late, I think until midnight during the weekends. It is divided into 2 stores and "garden" - that you can when you enter. So it is possible to sit in the basement and in the higher floor as well where is also terrace open in the summer. For Fridays/Saturdays I do recommend to book the table, because it is a very busy place. Great for big groups, but also for couples.Enjoy!

was rather disappointed by this place, they serve Czech Staropramen and a variety of international breweries but not a single local beer. Food was average, I was expecting something more authentic Slovakian. But nice interior and you can also sit on the terrace

Sat outside for a beer and some "grundle" fish in the Spring Sunshine. These were like whitebait back home. Beer served cold in steins.
