So.. Iâve been spending a lot of time at Maivies - both alone and in larger groups. This amazing, friendly and cozy place is suitable for both. And they even do freaking delivery!! With the most welcoming staff and the, dare I say, most tasty pizza in Southern Sri Lanka, I would most definitely recommend a visit. Go see for your self!Hi Ida, thank you for taking the time to drop us a review- we loved being able to serve you your fav pizza - number 5 no cheese extra feta if I remember correctly. We found this restaurant while walking on the beach doing a bit off fishing.we had our lunch prawn curry and kuttu.it was out off this world.we even went back the next day and had the crab curry. Which I also recommend.its not the cheapest place but it's the best food in this area and worth every penny.the staff are so friendly and obliging. Lovely view overlooking the ocean, which you wouldnât expect from the roadside. Itâs peaceful and Baboo is super friendly. We had breakfast which was tasty with decent portions and fresh ingredients. Itâs fairly priced for the setting and the food, a happy medium between expensive western places and very cheap local ones.
