Of course Uno' s in Chicago is great but wasn't sure how good they would be in Appleton Wisconsin. Don't fear they have the recipe down perfect, Deep Dish as well Chicago Thin, wonderful burgers and wow don't miss the onion rings. They have a great berry and goat cheese salad and enough to satisfy most any tastes. Would have given them 5 stars but the kitchen was slow in getting our food out but still a good dining experience.

Ate lunch here whilst I was staying in Appleton in business.Easy to find just South of the River Fox with plenty of parking.Nice decor with some great historical pictures of Houdini.Houdini claimed to have been born in Appleton (hence the link to the Town) even though he was actually born in Budapest Hungary in 1874.Yet âhungaryâ you will not be with the excellent menu in the gastro pub!There are some good deals too for lunch with âany two dishes $10â. I had chicken caesar and truffle mac n cheese. Portions are more European than American which is just right for me.Choice of beers is excellent too.Outdoor seating looked good although needs a few more shady tables to really make it work.I would return when I next visit Appleton.

We've been fans of and regular patrons of Anduzzi's in Kimberly, WI for quite some time. The service is always excellent, they have good cover bands, and, we could always count on the food being delicious. We were a party of 12 on a Saturday night, celebrating a wedding anniversary. I ordered one of my usuals - the Nacho Granduzzi, with beef. Their online menu shows a photo of the dish, covered with shredded beef.That's what the dish has looked like in the past when I've ordered it. Not this time. :(The portion was smaller than in the past (they charge $14.99), and, there was no visible beef. Remember the old commercial "Where's the Beef?" I mentioned this to the watiress, who dug underneath the nacho chips and said there was beef. Okay, so I trusted her. I started eating, and discovered that there was hardly any beef to speak of. If there was a Tablespoon worth of beef, that would be a surprise. The photo of the dish on the menu shows tons of beef on top, and a mound of chips and toppings. What I got was about half of what is depicted in the photo, but charged the same amount on the menu. Nearly $15 for what probably represented $7 worth of food (retail prices).What I ended up getting was a plate of taco chips, velveeta cheese sauce, chopped onions, tomatoes, canned jalepenos, and two small dollops of sour cream, and less than a Tablespoon of beef. For $14.99.The service was also not up to past experience; the place was not crowded considering it was a Saturday night, but I think they must have been understaffed perhaps, or our server was having an off night; she was not our regular server.We'll still return to Anduzzi's - they have billiard tables, foosball, darts, and more games, as well as cover bands that range from good to excellent. I'll never order the Nacho Granduzzi though.We appreciate you taking the time and leaving us a review. While we are happy to hear you enjoy our bar atmosphere, we are also saddened to hear that you had a negative experience with our menu, and the Nachos Granduzzi in particular. We will speak with our team members regarding ingredient proportions in order to correct this in the future. We started with expertly prepared old fashions and martinis at the well stocked bar. We had flavorful ribeyes with mushrooms over mashed potatoes, and fresh sautéed glazed salmon over risotto with roasted vegetables, Everything was delicious and the service was excellent., Itâs very reasonably priced and has a good vibe to it. We canât wait to return!

The Hollander has been here for a long time, and seems to be as popular as ever. Good food, good drinks, friendly staff, low prices... your dollar goes a long way here. This restaurant began as a Wisconsin supper club called Willyâs. Willyâs was a very popular and successful restaurant for many years. A few years back, as their customer base began to get a bit older, and younger folksâ tastes and dining habits were changing, Willyâs closed and was transformed into the current sports bar format. Some of the most popular menu items, such as the signature patty melt, breasted chicken and fish fries, carried over to the Hollander. I highly recommed The Hollander.

Walked through bar. Nobody working. Used restroom and returned. Still nobody working. Used WiFi to summon an Uber. Only saw two couples (customers) during my fifteen to twenty minutes there. Several establishments appeared to share the building, or maybe one establishments with different rooms.

We stopped in here for dinner one night and were pleasantly surprised. The service was spot on, the fish was delicious and the cocktails were good too. We had perch and haddock and both were done well. The baked potatoes were fresh and delicious too. We would highly recommend Kamps. It gets busy on Friday nights, so plan ahead.

Let me first start with the pro's: The drinks were well poured, the service was very good, and the food portions were more than generous. When my plate of perch came I was pleasantly surprised by the portion. It was 3 good sized butterflies for a single order. However, upon eating the fish, I found the predominant flavor to be grease. I ended up picking most of the breading off the perch, which was a LOT, and my fingers were very shiny after doing this, despite it not being a thick batter style breading. Also, on one piece of perch I ended up picking 13 fish scales out of my mouth. GROSS! The fries appeared to have been fried more than once and very greasy. Later on that night when I would burp, all I tasted was grease. My wife's prime rib was a good size portion and she said it was very tender but quite bland, including the Au Jus. I really wanted to like this restaurant because of the location and the portions, but it's not a place I would ever want to come back to.

Ordered Sunday chicken dinners. Dinners comes with dressing, mashed potatoes and a brown gravy, coleslaw and bread stick. Dressing, coleslaw and breadstick was good. The chicken was so salty we could not eat it. We have had other items that were good on other visits.Friendly staff, great service.
