The hotel has changed the restaurant around a bit and itâs really good now , no more queuing to order your food , wait staff come to your table now. Food is nice and hot with friendly staff . Most nights they are busy so booking is essential even on a Monday .we had calamari which was sensational , fresh bruschetta but no oysters as they had run out at 7pm unfortunately . Mains were steak , seafood linguine which was very nice but was mostly fish. Dessert was not that great. We have been back twice and would go again . The only thing we didnât like was the noise level , hard to hear each other

A local favourite with friendly staff and a fantastic modern decor that sets the venue apart from others. Our upper and lower lounge is the perfect spot to meet up with friends and family for a drink prior to dinner. Then join us in our European style res
The quality of ingredients is quite poor. I ask for a Rissoto with prams and I spend almost all night in the toilette. Happy didn't finish at the hospital. My wife asked for the Lamb Shank. Better to say half lamb shank because mostly you get is the bone, with lots of onion and a sample of mash potato. Service is not good too. A friendly young lady, but the man that serves the table, rude, in bad mood, unpolite.
We went to the Retro Bar with some friends. It's like walking back into the seventies. The food was delicious and home made style. They had craft beers on tap as well as imported beers in stubbies. They had the usual range of spirits as well as cocktails. The bar is small and quaint seating probably eighty to one hundred patrons. The show was excellent. Everyone had a great time.

Amongst the bustle of West End; a laneway leads you to the newest little hideaway in Brisbaneâs bar and dining scene: Brisbane Brewing Co. A boutique craft beer brewery and bar: where modern industrial aesthetics are fused with artisan-formed timber featu
We popped in just for one as we were driving. The bar is down a wide alley filled with tables some with ashtrays. As you go further in though it opens into a lively and lovely area, cushioned benches, old chairs to sit in etc. a dog was at an outdoor table which was nice. Staff very nice and knowledgeable.

We were staying in outer suburbs of Brisbane where dining options are minimal. It was refreshing to be able to take both grandparents (over 80's) and young adults (circa 25) to this restaurant and everyone was happy. Simple tasty choices in the food area, good choice of drinks, not too noisy for a conversation, good helpful service. two visits in two days. We'll be back :) PS The chili prawn pizza packs a serious punch!
