This is a cute little house outfitted with a few tables and a good size bar. We were greeted warmly and provided water glasses promptly. We ordered a flight of bourbon from their extensive list but were told they were out of one that we had picked. No problem, pick another one, sorry, out of that also, picked another. I ordered the Firecracker Salad that was supposed to be Thai style and come with peanuts, chicken and a coconut sauce. After a few minutes, they told me it didn't come with the coconut sauce and would I like Ranch or another dressing. Sorry, but peanuts and spicy chicken don't make a "Thai" salad. No problem though, I said I would take the Carribbean Joe sandwich. Sorry, that isn't on the menu any longer, so I ordered the Corned Beef Grilled Cheese with sweet potato fries. The fries were mostly undercooked and the cheese on the "Grilled Cheese" was hard to find. The pumpernickel bread was very fresh and tasty though. A server said I must have gotten the only menu that had not been updated! My dining partner had chicken wings that were supposed to have a dry rub. While the wings were hot and juicy, the seasoning consisted of something sprinkled on one side of the wings after they were cooked. Maybe we just got there at a bad time or they had an off night but I think they need to pay more attention to keeping a current bourbon list and all of their menus up to date. By the way, the on-line menu is not up to date as of this review either.

Waited at the outside bar for seven-to-ten minutes to get a beer.People coming in after us were getting served before we did.Pointed this out to the bartender--who basically blew us off.Chose to take our business and money elsewhere. Won't be back.

If you used to eat at The Hub and have missed their food since they relocated and changed their name to Urban Bread Co.- you will find their delicious rotis here! There are plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters alike with lovely views of the river. You can easily get a delicious meal for two for around $25 and if you drink there's decent amount of choices, too. It's nothing fancy, but once you eat it them - you won't be able to get them out of your head!

The Rover is the real deal - You will love the atmosphere and the food! We had Shannon as our server and she was very attentive on a busy Friday night. The Fish and Chips are fabulous. Multiple beers and drinks complete the menu of Irish Fare. Finish dinner with a Rover Coffee! For small parties you can call ahead (30 Minutes) to get your name on the list.

The brick-lined basement location in the waterfront area makes this an intriguing location. I had been referred to this place by a local, so I went in with expectations. My cocktail, the Trollfashioned, was good. My wedge was okay; nothing special. The frickles (fried pickles) were oily and not crisp at all. The dipping sauce had a spice and was good. Overall, it was okay. I would return if a group wanted to go, but on my own, there are other choices.

Against The Grain Brewery and Smokehouse is Louisville's first brewer-owned brewery and, like most worthwhile undertakings, the product of dissatisfaction with the status quo. The Louisville area has had a number of quality brewpubs for some time now, but
Came for lunch and loved it! The atmosphere is fun and Street artsy but donât miss the brews and food. We tried the bbq breakfast and it was....well....words donât describe it well enough. Just suggest you have it. Two of our group did and then shared bites with the rest. The brisket sandwich was delicious but the brisket baked beans were sublime. As for the brews, one of our group loved the pool boyâ with a blackberry base- light and refreshing. Another of our group got a darker porter which they loved âbut the winner had to be the Bloody Mary. It came with lots of accoutrements including a piece of cheese, meat and pork rinds. Hard to describe but delicious with a little spice. Good Music was going outside but we sat inside to avoid the afternoon heat. Fun place to try.

We came here based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a fun atmosphere and the outside patio looked fun but it was not open. I had the fried chicken tenders and my husband had the white chicken meat. Very tasty!! Especially with the honey dipping sauce! Both had cole slaw-it was ok but needs to be stirred up. I also got the Mac and cheese. Highly recommend that!We left before entertainment came on and I believe it would be loud at that time.Service attentive. Would recommendThank you for the love! Cheers!

Mostly a burger / appetizer spot with a very deep drink menu. Would probably go back to sit at the bar based on the variety of drinks, maybe get an appetizer (the chorizo fries were very good!). This trip, we didn't sit at the bar, and wasn't overly impressed with service. That knocks it down from a 4 to a 3 for us.

First time visit with a friend who had been before and recommended. The FauxHawk Burger sounded good and it did not disappoint. Easily the best veggie burger I've enjoyed to date. Friend got a chicken sandwich which was also very good. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to getting back. Tip: RY is one block from the Big Four pedestrian bridge. If in Louisville, take a stroll and avoid the toll (New driving bridge is a toll bridge).
