Pass by here often and finally stopped in. Everything was very well done!. Service, food & Bloody Mary's.Wife said it was the best Linguini & Clam Sauce since Rome. I had the halibut, I had been craving and thought it was perfect. The place is known more for their steaks, so that will be next visit.Nicely done dinner. Service & food. We'll be back. Hats off to the chef.
My wife and I when to the New Poncho's Mexican Food Restaurant in Rancho San Diego today and had a good experience. My wife had the Chilaquiles Rojos for her breakfast meal, and I had the Huevos Rancheros. My wife liked her Chilaquiles Rojos and said they were very tasty and nicely cooked. My Huevos Rancheros were also good. Poncho's has a Salsa Bar where you can get all the homemade salsa you want. Both meals came with rice and beans. Poncho's Mexican Food has only been in the Rancho San Diego location for 4 1/2 months, and the inside of the Restaurant has all new seating, painting, signs, TV's, etc. The Restaurant was spotless clean ! Brenda Marquez the cashier and order taker was very nice, as she answered our questions and took our order. This new Poncho's Mexican Food is owned and managed by Alfonso Gutierrez. Alfonso was also very nice as I asked him questions about his families other 2 Poncho's Restaurants in the El Cajon area, owned by other family members. Nice, Clean and Friendly place, with some good food.

Great food, great service, right on the golf course. We had stayed in the hotel, and attended a concert and then headed over for breakfast. Nice menu selections. Reasonable prices

My wife and I went to Applebee's in the Rancho San Diego area today to enjoy their Happy Hour. Emily a server brought us our menus. We have had Emily before at Applebee's and she has such a great personality and is an excellent server. We try to ask for Emily every time we go to Applebee's because she is so professional and good. We sat in the Bar Area today because of Happy Hour, and enjoyed Christina who is Applebee's Best Bartender. Christina's pleasant and humorous personality makes your visit to the Applebee's Bar area a real treat. She is AWESOME ! My wife and I enjoyed a Long Island Ice Tea, and a Long Beach Ice Tea for our drinks, which were very good. For food, we tried the Chicken Wonton Taco's and the Boneless Chicken Wings which 1/2 off the regular price and were both very good and tasty. The Happy Hour from 3:00 to 6:00pm is a great way to end your day in a relaxing atmosphere. Check out Applebee's Happy Hour, you will not be disappointed, especially if Christina is the Bartender !

As one of the premier family owned local restaurants in the Rancho San Diego area. Nicky Rottens Bar & Burger Joint is where you want to be for the best burgers and sports games in town. Using the highest quality ingredients and fresh organic vegetables,
We took a friend to lunch yesterday at Nicki Rottens. There were not many people there, our waiter was very attentive. He got our drinks and took our food order quickly and efficiently!! Then the wait began..Remember there were only a few people there and our order was not complicated. A burger, a salad and a wrap. None of those should have taken sooooo long. It was at least 1/2 hour before our order came up. The food was wonderful, prepared just the way we asked for it and our waiter was extremely nice. I would have given this place a 5 star rating except for the long wait and this has been pretty typical. We have been in there many time and it is the same story every time, we have to wait forever for our food. We like this place very much, so we put up with the wait, but we are not all that happy about it!

Been coming to this place for the last couple years. Haven't reviewed since I was being selfish and keeping this our secret place to eat, lol. We love coming here for lunch or dinner. It's advertised as a sports bar but their food is restaurant quality since they've changed chefs. To start, the Brussel sprouts are excellent! Made with bacon, feta cheese, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar...yum! The rib eye is better than some restaurants we've been to, surf and turf is great, ribs are awesome. Bonus! For a few dollars more you can sub the brussel sprouts for a side with your meal. Be hungry when you get here because portions are large. Nice beer and drink options, service is excellent.

Our group of four rolled in for a late-night business dinner right before closing. The staff was still fully engaged with us allowed us to order food service was prompt we had Reuben sandwiches prime rib dip. Just ordered San Diego beers. A good experience overall
The daily special happened to be Prime Rib $14.99 with members card. A good deal. Cut was a little thin, and only cooked one-way. Was hoping for more rare. Horseradish sauce was bland. Asked for raw horseradish, it wasn't, or still watered down. Lots of mashed potatoes and green beans. Service was quick. Beers on tap limited in this restaurant only. A little nosy. Hard to have a conversation. At the booth there was a TV playing, in addition to restaurant programing, and something going on in the casino too loud.

We had a great casual dinner of burgers and beers. Iâd strongly recommend it if you are looking for something similar. This is a casual restaurant with a bar attached that includes a wide variety of craft beers including a good mix of IPAs.We had the burgers, salads and onion petals (battered and fried fingers). Juicy, delicious and very filling. Beth's salad was recommended by locals as huge and delicious. They also have chicken and beef burgers as well as a reasonable variety of salad options. Sides included fries and tater tots. The service staff was friendly and attentive. While it isn't a sports bar, there are plenty of tv screens if you want to watch sports. There is also an adjoining table space that includes a couple of video games. The pricing was similar to sit down burger places.
