Had dinner there last Friday evening with our "Supper Group", a party of nine (all seniors). Everyone enjoyed what they ordered including the pub style Fish and Chips and Bangers & Mash. Our waitress was very attentive, personable and the food came quickly and piping hot. Sort of quiet there for a Friday night but that was OK by us.

A laid back atmosphere, The Blackened Kraken Bar & Grill offers seafood & made from scratch, authentic southern food!
We stopped in for an appetizer and a drink. My wife, daughter and I sat at the bar and were rewarded with Awesome service. Our Bartender was very helpful she immediately offered us the drink specials. We ordered the $3 Land Sharks which was a heck of a deal. She suggested the Quesadillas which we got and were delicious. On our next trip to Greenville we will definitely plan to have dinner here.

In 2007, the first Bad Daddy's Burger Bar opened on East Blvd. in Charlotte, NC. It was an immediate success, and for good reason. Our philosophy to prepare simple foods-such as the quintessential American dish, the hamburger-with culinary passion satisfi
Our baseball team from Virginia Beach came in after our game. We were immediately greeted by the manager who was very welcoming and accommodating. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing!!! The house made chips, goat cheese burger, etc. all was delicious!! Wish we had one in VB!

Crossbones looks like a typical bar scene where food might be an after-thought, but our lunch was delicious and the brick-wall enclosed patio half shade/half sun was delightful. The catfish po-boy was fresh and tender; the fried chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy; and the pan-seared green beans were perfect. The collard greens were disappointing â too salty and way too spicy. The wait staff were young and somewhat inexperienced but friendly and agreeable. Prices were moderate, and overall value was very good. From what we learned, the tavern has live music almost every night, so the scene at dinner can be noisy â a different vibe which might be fun but might not suit everyone. Crossbones is centrally located in the buzzing 5th street area, and attracts ECU students as well as visitors.

The food is terrible. The beer isn't great, but the selection is good, but maybe that's why the beer tastes stale. The service it's cliche.Hi Jill - We'd love to know more details about what happened during your visit that caused you to rate us only 1-star. Yes, indeed, the burger with the jalapeno jelly -- "Cobra Kai"--is to die for. The beef was juicy, tasty and perfect. There was just enough of the toppings... not too much, not too little. The french fries were fried to perfection. And the beers were ice cold. I'll be back, Jack.

Quite a nice place. Comfy, colorful (i.e. a bit Redneck). Good food, good booze, and a good selection of beer on tab and bottled. The guys know their job, and can help you with your choice. When the university bunch is in town, it can get crowded, people say.
