All total between business (22%) and personal 78%, I have dined here approaching 200 times. There are as many burger places as mattress stores in Greensboro, but the best by far is Rody's. Why? Three attributes sets then apart. Great attentive management who inspires and nurtures super empowered servers and staff who cheer on and encourage the food preparers and chefs. A winning combination. Loud food, good music and fun. No foo, foo, green tree tea asparagus, Brussel sprouts in a strawberry mint and cream reduction served with lady fingers. No false English accents as in the Lexus commercials: Southern spoken here and a mix of other Americana.Managers very visible and a bar staff that is fun to watch!Come for the entrees but stay for the sides that are good enough to stand alone as a meal. Back to steak, a relatively new offering to tempt you. While you can spend up to twice as much elsewhere, you will not find a better sirloin filet. And it is cooked to perfection and please, please do not have it cooked more than medium, please! So I like this place for food friends and great service. Giving s shlot out to the very efficient hostesses that will seat you as fast as possible.

Mussels simmered in wine sauce with tons of garlic and a baguette. Sigh. And there are three varieties, Catalina, Diablo, and something else. All are great. Pair dinner with a bottle of Gabbiano red and you're set.

Hubby and I came for the second time and enjoyed our food- SW Chicken Philly and Pulled Pork sandwich. I had the curly fries and anytime there's tater tots on the menu his inner Napoleon Dynamite takes over and he had them. We both had to restrain our selves from licking the platters clean. I tried a watermelon beer and he had a much darker vanilla cream and we liked them both. More staff than our waitress asked how things were and we appreciate that kind of service. Lots of folks were dining outside and we prefer in during the allergy season anyway. On a previous trip we had the onion rings and they are excellent too (they were on my sandwich as well). We also like that the menu is not a novel with far too many choices it has just the right amount. Bathrooms were clean too! Thanks for the excellent review!! We are so glad we were able to provide you and your husband an awesome experience complete with excellent service and delicious food and beverages! We can't wait for you to join us again and we hope your next tater tot craving will dually warrant a full dance sequence...we'll bring the tots! Cheers!

I carried out from Fishbones when I was in Greensboro last week. Simply stated: OMG!!! Delish!!!!We both ate a special Korean bowl. But the real treat were the spring rolls with the peanut sauce. The restaurant was full. People were seated by the door waiting for a table. This is a good sign, of course. As I was in and out, I could still see that this was a place to eat. The staff that helped me were great. Fishbones was around the corner from an Airbnb that we rented. The owner had suggested going there Our kids who lived there seconded that recommendation. So from observation of the restaurant and from the taste of the food: Go! I don't know if they take reservations but another gold star for Greensboro.

We had late Sunday afternoon sandwiches and sides: chicken BLT, chopped beef sandwich, spring garden salad, and street corn. It was almost closing time, but the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. In spite of the time, service was moderately slow and timely. We didn't try the pub side, but the grub is great and reasonably priced!

Went there with my family Sunday at noon for brunch. After just a little wait, we were seated upstairs. Service was great, we had Omelets with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and goat cheese, it was fantastic. The place also has a positive atmosphere and good music.
