Great food, friendly service and first-rate beer. That's the simple, winning formula that makes The Duke of Kent one of the best pubs in Ealing. Dating back to Georgian times, the Duke is a traditional pub of some heritage. Renowned for great pub food, Th
Stopped in for a pint before the rugby as we were both big fans of Fullers beer. Unfortunately most if the beers were off, so with limited choice we chose london pride thinking we couldn't go wrong. We were however wrong, as the beer was warm as if it had been sat in the sun all day. I dont think it's too much to expect beer to be well kept if you're charging £4.70 for ale. On the positive side, it is a really nice pub inside with a nice atmosphere. Hi, thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry we didn't get it right for you. You are right your beer should be perfect. Unfortunately that day and a few days afterwards we had a serious failure of our cellar cooling system. It wasn't apparent on Sunday afternoon until we it came to light around 3pm. We now have a shiny new compressor and our cellar and our much loved real ales are back on track. As ever I would urge any of our customers to talk to us during your visit. If something is not right we will always do our best to rectify it or in this case offer an alternative. Please feel free to ask for me next time you are in and I will happily replace the pint we owe you, Sorry again and all the bestCheersDel

Recently invited our neighbours to join my wife and me for Sunday Lunch and we selected the Ballot Box as we have been there before and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.Sunday Lunch menu here includes all the usual traditional meals, roast beef, roast chicken, etc, but also includes Cod and chips, gammon steak, curries, and more.My neighbours thoroughly enjoyed the lunch and have since told me that they will be returning to The Ballot Box in the future. The meals were served in a reasonable time, and all of us considered the food to be of a high quality and certainly very enjoyable. On the day we went, there seemed to be a promotion - two Sunday lunches for a fixed price of £12. So it only cost me £24 for all four of us - terrific value. However, a member of the staff team did tell me that the price would be increased to £13 soon, but even that is terrific value it seems to me.Thank you Eric for your positive words, we always hope to make it an enjoyable experience that you can feel confident sharing with others. Look forward to seeing you soon, Jordon

A relaxed gastropub, with a large dining area and garden. Meals are made to order from the fresh and seasonal menu, with an impressive selection of wines and ales available.
We were a large group. Food was excellent. Service very good. Staff very freindly. We were able to take our time which was good given it was sunday lunch time.Hi TLSM21,Thank you for your review and so happy to hear you had a great time.I will pass the complements on to the Floor team and the chefs.Hope to see you again soon.Kind regards,Olly.

The Grosvenor had been really top notch for a while and previously we would not hesitate in choosing to eat there every time we wanted a gastropub meal in Ealing. However the last 3 times have not been anywhere near the previous quality. Sunday lunch was dried out with anaemic potatoes and soft veg. Dinner recently was dreadful. The staff ask, you provide feedback and nothing happens. No apology, no offer to remove an uneaten dish from the bill. Itâs never about the money but itâs always about caring and quality. The staff seem stressed and the happy vibe they all had before seems to have gone. Cleanliness standards have dropped also.I donât know if itâs the acquisition of Food and Fuel, or the new manager but regardless attention to detail, standards and genuine care for customers matter a lot and I am worried they may be gone. Please fix as we love this place!Good Afternoon, Thank you for leaving this feedback, we now have a new manager here at The Grosvenor and we are working on reviving this little gem so your review is much appreciated if you have any further suggestions please feel free to pop in and tell us or email us at [email protected] a fabulous dayKris

Went here Saturday 1st December before x factor final. We travelled from northern Ireland and I had booked table before we went. The price of beer was cheap for London and the staff were really helpful and friendly. But the best thing about this place was the food 5 of us got steaks and 1 got a chicken with mushroom thing and it was unreal. We eat out a lot and this is up there. So anyone going to a show definitely eat here before going you will not be disappointed.Hi Stephen,Although some time ago, we appreciate the kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your meal and the 'Chicken with Mushroom thing!' ;) We look forward to seeing you again soon and hope you enjoy yourself as much as you did the first time!Thanks,- Jack Johal

Myllet Arms is a Greene King Pub & Carvery which offers great quality food and drink in a pub atmosphere that caters for all. Weâre all about those everyday excuses to relax and unwind with friends and family. Our mouth-watering Carvery is served fresh ev
I recently had my motherâs wake in the myllet arms, every single one of the staff involved was sympathetic, helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was exceptional and all of my family who was at my mothers wake all commented on how nice the food was and how well chosen the venue was. So I donât usually write reviews but felt I had to do this because it was a very sad occasion being my mothers wake but deciding to hold it in the myllet arms made a very sad occasion into a very pleasant occasion. If anyone was thinking of holding any celebration or wake as in my case I can 100% recommend to have it in the mylett arms. Thanks for taking the time to let us know how we did. Have a great day!

With no planning we decided on a family lunch at the White Horse on Harrow on the Hill; 8 adults and two babies.Nice friendly welcome and were shown to our table, good service - offered drinks immediately and no rush to get us fed which was nice. The food on offer was a good range of pub fare, and we had a range of chice from the menu - burgers to a sunday roast. The food arrived all at the same time - which is pretty unusual! well presented, well cooked and piping hot.Service was excellent and the staff were really friendly - the babies slept through lunch. Great meal out.

This newly refurbished pub, based in the heart of Harrow is proving to be a delight to all those that visit. This family friendly pub, designed with simplistic retro deco, portraying an ambient atmosphere, offering a great range of wines, prosecco, beers,
After hearing a lot of good things about the Kingsfield Arms my wife and I were very much looking forward to our visit. The good news is, they do get a couple of things right. Nice ambience and very good service. However, what should be the star of the show was sadly underwhelming. The food was just so ordinary. The mixed vegetable bhaji starter was an enormous intimidating plateful of deep fried vegetables that looked and tasted like it was pre-packed from Iceland. Iâm sure that canât be the case but thatâs what it looked and tasted like. The sauces of the mains tasted generic and pre-prepared and the Naan Bread tasted out of a packet.Whilst the food was pleasant enough it just wasnât authentic freshly cooked Indian. I appreciate that this type of Indian Restaurant is becoming more popular as it becomes increasingly difficult to hire the best Indian chefs who are sadly a dying breed but it just wasnât for me and I was surprised by its very impressive ratings. Maybe I just didnât get it!
