A well appointed local bar with a small team of staff and plenty regulars. Split over two levels, the upper bar offers a nice place to chat , drink and eat. Downstairs we have out pool table and jukebox.
We go here every year when on holiday in Dunoon. Great little bar, tucked up a side street off the main shopping area of town. Fantastic menu, and the best soup ever! Cheap and cheerful, lovely friendly staff. Even though its a year between visits, the staff always remember us. Great place.

2 night midweek break with our daughters coming on 2nd night with grandson and baby granddaughter. Staff could not have been more helpful moving tables to accommodate us and considering space for the baby. Dining room is small and can't imagine what breakfast is like when hotel is full. Breakfast and dinner were delightful. Food well cooked and presented. Small but adequate menu with a choice for all. Our double room was small but adequate and the girls room upstairs was wonderful as a family room.
We visited here on Friday evening for a family meal. Food was delish! Everyone cleared their plates. They do small & large portions on all their popular dishes. Perfect if you are looking for something not too heavy. Staff are amazing..friendly and always ensuring you have everything you need and your drinks are topped up. We will certainly be back.

Greenock's number one destination for live sport, late night entertainment and delicious food! why go elsewhere?
Popped in for lunch one Saturday. It was very quiet so could sit pretty much anywhere although it wasnât long before it started filling up with people wanting to watch the the football on the big screens. The food offer of 2 meals for £10.99 is very cheap. Sadly, this meant that it wasnât the best quality. I got bangers and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding. The Yorkshire was pretty cold and the sausages were very low quality. My husband got a chicken pie and chips. The chips were very hot and tasty but the pie was cold and the puff pastry (on the top AND the bottom of the pie???) was rather anaemic looking. The side of onion rings were tasty enough. At the end of our meal, the match was about to begin so they turned the commentary up VERY loud so we could barely hear each other. Pleased we were ready to leave. Itâs a nice building but it needs a lick of paint on the ceiling where there has clearly been water ingress and there are large cracks above one of the pillars in the middle of the room. A bit of repair work is needed.

Was in Gourock for a night out and popped into The Kempock...WOW! What a great wee pub - as if it had come straight from another era, possibly the 60s, but that was the charm of the place - much music memorabilia adorning the walls and jukebox FULL of every style of music you could ask for to keep the night going with a swing - and indeed the locals of all ages did just that and were up dancing all night! A really friendly atmosphere between customers who had never met before, and the bar staff made us feel really welcome too, especially Irene and Jim. If I lived in Gourock, this would definitely be my local!

This place is easily missable, and doesnât stand out as much as it should! Inside decor is classy and calm, beautiful fresh flowers and candles on the table booths and tables to choose from, gorgeous. Service from the lovely employees is very professional, kind and helpful! Food, oh my life, there are no words to describe how delicious it is! Home made chips, the fish, oh my just no words! This place is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. Isnât badly priced either! Will definitely return whilst in the area :)

We dropped into cafe continental mid Sunday afternoon and were lucky enough to secure a table for one hour. Seemed to be a few larger parties in but there was a nice buzz about the place. Great views from the huge windows. Mac cheese was ok, not the best (a bit dry like it had been sitting in the oven a long time) but by no means the worse Iâve had. Roast lamb with all the trimmings went down well. Couple of glasses of house red and two excellent espressos set us up for the afternoon. No time for pudding as they really did need the table back within the hour. Recommended if in the area but would suggest booking ahead to enjoy a more leisurely experience.
