I normally like Irish pubs. The food is generally OK and the (Irish) beers never disappoint. But here we saw sadly enough eastern europeans behind the counter with little or none english capability.

I know from previous employees that almost all their menu items are frozen food ("convenient products"). For some wild reason, this restaurant is often packed, but the quality of their products is very poor. I would only recommend this restaurant for coffee or cocktails. The bar is fine, the kitchen is the problem.

With a rather late arrival at our hotel across the road, the Papillon was an easy choice for dinner; and what a lucky find !We chose from an extensive menu of Italian cuisine; the food was delicious and served with style.In a mixture of German and English, we were able to converse with the friendly and attentive staff.Highly recommended !
