The Kings Arms is an old hostelry with a modern outlook set in a conservation area of Northgate Street. Situated a stones throw away from the Market Place and adjacent to St Nicholas Church. The Kings Arms has a large bar area with a small but cosy restau
The pub serves straight forward pub food with good service. Prices are fairly cheap for food nowadays so value is good.

This was the only pub in the area advertising a pub quiz - it is a bit hard to find being away from the main tourist area of Great Yarmouth and in the middle of a social housing estate. Although the facilities are basic, everyone was very friendly, the pub quiz was excellent and there is a good range of beer and pub food on offer.

Without a doubt the best authentic Green Thai Curry we have ever had. 10/10 comes with Chips or Sticky Rice for only £6.95 as at 04.07.19. Not tasted other food so can`t comment on other meals but the Curry was out of this World and cooked by a lovely Thai Lady :)
A nice cosy, friendly local pub, that offers a good selection of beers, wines, spirits etc. Nice friendly staff , the place was clean and comfortable. We went here for a quiz night , and the buffet was great. A nice local pub. Parking may be a problem, but just walk or get a taxi. Dont drink & drive.

Ive always liked this pub, Ive been going there thro various landlords and it hasnt lost its character. the beer is top quality and prices normal. Seating is available outside and it is a great place to wait for the missus while she shops in Morrisons!

It all started when my mum in a wheelchair and me came in at 8am. She came through the doors and skidded. She then when to turn to go to the bar and pay but before she could turn the waitress shouted at her over here now in a stern voice. We have been to lost of Tobyâs and know where you have to pay for breakfast. So we went to the bar and paid for 3 breakfast. We went up and got our food but when we got to the eggs they rock hard. They had four trays out all covered up. They were all rock hard it food hygiene not to have that amount out at 8am. When my disabled mum asked can the chef lift the lid on a pot he went no your get what is there already not ones that are covered up. Which is very rude and too a disabled women. Then after I went up to get my food and picked up potatoes covered in cheese but I am allergic to onions. There was no signs saying that onions were in it even when I asked staff and the chef they said there was no onions but as I sat down I cut the potatoes open and realised that the whole lot of potatoes were covered in onions underneath the cheese. When I said that it is covered in onions they shrugged there shoulders and went oh well now you know. I could of died due to staff incapability to know what was in their food they were serving. It was disgusting service and attitude.Hi Harry P, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit. as a management team we will sit down and discuss these issues and retrain where necessary

We recently stayed in a local camping site and spent our final evening at the Kingfisher after looking at what was locally available. Walking in you immediately feel that local pub atmosphere, welcoming staff, the regulars who smile and greet you and even a parrot!Long story short, the food was great with a wide selection on offer and friendly staff to top it off. Thanks Kingfisher - we will definitely be back!

Popped in here after a visit to the beach. Only stopped for a pint but the food looked really good too. Staff were all immaculately dressed and very polite and helpful. Clean toilets too. The decor is lovely and wasn't what we were expecting when we went in. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Went out with the wife on Saturday night and we fancied a meal so just rocked up here on spec and were told to wait about 15 minutes for a table, no problem, the guy returned a few minutes later and said it would be 20 minutes instead and offered a drink on the house! great service. The meal was brilliant, I had whitebait for starters which was as good as any I've had anywhere, the Hunter's chicken for mains was similarly great. Must mention the guy who served us as he was excellent and it makes such a change from the usual kids on front of house who don't have a clue. Will definitely return! £42 for 2 including drinks and starters.
