4 of us going large on the Basque Block in Boise. This restaurant came recommended and we decided to try it. They have Basque type food but also sandwiches and others that fit into the American faire category. A rotating tap plus some regulars. I tried an Oktoberfest and a Helles Lager. Both very good.Entress run about $10-12 and come with either fries or croquettes. Try the croquettes if you've never had them. Good stuff.Service was good and the place was clean. Portion sizes were middle of the road but good for the price. Food was tasty. Dining area and bathrooms looked cleanI'd go again.

This is an awesome space downtown where they serve some amazing beers and food. I visited the Portland location a few years ago and was excited to try the Boise location. Hands down the Sinistor Black Ale is my favorite beer on the planet. Also tried the Sasquatch which is nice for a lighter drinking beer. I was here from early afternoon until well into dinner service, Started with the warm pretzels served with bacon jalapeño ancho pepper cheese sauce. Amazing and just the right amount of hot. Later I ordered the Fish-n-Chips. It was good but the batter was a bit soggy. The Chips were tasty. The only negative is the service is a bit off. The staff could be friendlier but it would not stop me from paying a return visit.

Established in 1999. With three locations in Boise, Eagle and Coeur d'Alene that capture the spirit of Idaho and the Northwest, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery is a cornerstone of Idaho's restaurant and bar industry. The original establishment is locat
They have a large open floor with a well-stocked, long bar. The list of drinks and beers may not be huge, but the selection is decent. The food is ok, although I'd say the presentation is better than the flavor. Excellent service, very friendly bartenders and waiters. They have a break-out room for private dinners/parties.Thanks for the detailed review. We welcome feedback like this as we are always looking for ways to improve! We hope to see you again soon.

The food and service were both good and would have merited a five-star rating. Everyone was enjoying the finger steaks, in particular. Generous helping of crisp onion rings was also appreciated. However, the dozens of flies made outdoor eating less than pleasant (strategically placed fly strips would have helped perhaps), and the overwhelming odor of chlorine in my wine glass pretty much ruined my wine. It was as strong as a swimming pool in terms of odor. Better rinsing of the wine glasses, please! We had a vegetarian friend with us ~ very slim pickings for anyone who wants to avoid meat.

Super fun and energetic place with great outdoor seating. The burger is awesome, make sure to add the Danish Pearl cheese! Only complaint is the fries - half of them were awesome and crispy but the other half were a bit soggy. Service is great and location canât be beat. Will definitely be back!

Years ago when I first went to Applebee's there was not a lot of competition and the food seemed to compete with a high school cafeteria. However, times have changed for the better. Their sandwiches, burgers, kids meals gave all improved dramatically and it is not a bad place to take the family for a reasonably priced meal with a diverse menu. In this day and age, better is always better.

Sockeye Brewing's 19-year history is an inspired one. We are both inspired to uphold the quality of the original brews, and inspired to innovate and push new boundaries with our newer brews and small-batch concoctions. What started as a river guide's smal
Visited 5 brew pubs in boise on my recent trip and sockeye rates near or at the top. Beers were excellent for a non IPA drinker. Two nitros on tap, top rated. Fried salmon, wow! Guess it's not against culinary code to get this prized fish, it was fantastic fish and chips. Large dining room with an outdoor patio and friendly staff.

Stopped in here for a late night burger and beer. My son had the Peanut Butter Bacon burger and said it was excellant. I had the Chicken Bacon Gouda and it was very delicious. We both felt the Obligatory Double IPA was outstanding. I also enjoyed the Habanero Cream Ale.Always an excellant time and great service!

A group of us went there and we were pleasantly surprised. Don't let the strip mall fool you. Inside you'll find great food, fabulous service and a great selection of beer and wine. They also had live music when we were there. Will be back and can't wait to try out the patio when it warms up!

the good:- nice interior, - patio sitting outside- a long list of beer choices, nothing special- the pint of mac&jack amber ale was ok, 5.75$the bad:- the ribeye flatbread 13$ wasn't very tasty, meat not marinated, lack of flavor, toppings weren't complimenting one another flavor wise
