I ended in Dros restaurant as it was close to my hotel and as I didn't feel like going anywhere else. Little effort gets little reward and I'm not intending to go back here. I ordered a burger with fries and a beer. First of all, when asking for a draft beer, I got blank stares. Same when asking for a beer from Botswana or something local, or telling I'd like a Pilsner type of beer. Blank stares. I do expect staff to know the products they sell. Nevertheless, I got a bottle of tasty beer in the end. After placing the order, a long wait started. The waitress informed me after 10 minutes that my burger would be served in 10 minutes (mind, the place was about empty). The burger itself was very decent. 200 grams of beef, a fresh bun, tasty sauce and fresh greens made for a very good bite. The fries, on the other hand, were severely undercooked. When informing the waitress, she just looked at them and told me that they looked ok to her... I think that's the biggest issue here: staff seems friendly but lack the basic knowledge to do their work properly. The bill was ok. A bit more thank real junk food, but a bit too expensive for what I got. Conclusive: 5 stars for the beer and burger, 1 star for the fries and staff makes 3 stars on average.

Staying here for 2 weeks i got to see the inconsistency in service. Sometimes its good sometimes bad depending on the person and mood. Tried different pizza's as the service, good and bad. Surprisingly the staff do not differ from staying guests and normal guests.

Admittedly that's partly due to the lack of competition, but still - I had the Moto Guzzi pizza one night, and the vegetarian pasta and house salad the other time (the latter meal probably better). Service (my waitress was Ratie) was excellent - actually the stand out element for me. If you're staying in the Masa Square hotel, it's a must.

Nice setting, okay cappuccinos but let down but a terrible steak. I sat and worked most of the day at the pool bar and had lunch and dinner there. Lunch was a curry. Not bad. Dinner we ordered the steak. For P155 we expected something decent, but out came a stringy, fatty, thin, sorry looking piece of meat that was so small that it did not even have a T in the supposed T-bone.Absolute disgrace and rip offDear rodney120Firstly let me apologise for coming back to you on the response this late. your comment has been well received and the kitchen is addressing the steak issue.we are very sorry for the disappointment you had in our meal item and we will do our best to sort this out. Had a dinner whilst staying at the hotel nearby to get a little variety. The salad was nice if rather more spicy than I expected but quite acceptable. The staff were friendly and fairly efficient. The noise level mentioned in other reviews was not an issue but has put me off a little on other nights.Overall a pleasant meal at a fair price with good service.

The word Gaborone literally means it does not fit badly or it is not unbecoming.... Well, neither is Rhapsody's! Which is exactly why we now offer excellent food paired with beautiful wines to our local Gaborone patrons!Lovingly referred to as "Gabs", the
This Rhapsody outlet was in Mowana Mall. We had selected it because we wanted some takeaway sushis for a birthday party. We had previously tried sushis at different restaurants and decided this was our favourite. The waiting time of 15 minutes was quite reasonable especially as we enjoyed a nice cappuccino while we watched the world go by. In the event, the sushis were delicious and enjoyed by all of us.

The Bull and Bush Pub in Gaborone is an absolute haven after a long day at a trade fair. The staff are friendly and so are the patrons. We pulled up to the bar outside and within 5 minutes were talking to some locals who told us this was their favorite haunt. It offers a really wide variety of drinks and I was able to find Coronas which I donât usually see around. No lime to pop in the bottle but lemon will do when you are desperate! We didnât try the food but were told that Mondayâs is their favorite night as it is rib night. Pretty much every person at the bar was ordering that. The second best they said was pizza which looked pretty good. The place is huge with a variety of areas for dining â indoor and outdoor. There are some artists lined up outside with some wire work on sale. They had some of the most beautiful wire work I have seen in a long time.Definitely, 5 stars for this place for ambience, location and drinks!
