Dooley's Irish Tavern

It's no wonder this chain is struggling to stay around...from the minute we sat down, our server couldn't get anything right. My significant other ordered a tap beer that apparently had an empty keg; 20 minutes, 3 servers and 2 different excuses later, he got it. Then the soup. I'm not sure if our server was brand new or hard of hearing, but we each ordered soup-- he got chili and I got something I didn't ask for or want. Multiple requests for salt and pepper, not enough dressing for the salad, the list goes on. I actually began to feel sorry for our server by the end of the night...If we didn't have a Groupon I would really have been peeved.

We were looking For something different and our GPS show this to be close by. The inside is decorated with an old fire truck and other auto related stuff. The service was neither fast nor slow. It could have been quicker for how empty it was. My wife ordered a salad with chicken. She liked it and was plenty large, $13. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. That sandwich came with coleslaw and fried onion strips. The onions were cold possibly from being on the coleslaw. The pork was barely warm and I suspect made a day or two ago. Not a bad flavour, not moist though. The fries were okay, just warm enough. 2 entree salads, 1 sandwich and water with tip $40. Not bad place but no need to return.

Go to this location quite often, especially with sinkhole nearby. Almost every time the service is good and the food is spot on. Once in awhile we will get a bad waitress, maybe twice a year. Other than that they do a great job here.

Stuffed and happy after an excellent dinner at Applebee's.Delish peach iced tea quencher started us off. Pictured below is hubby's order of club sandwich and fries. Me, took advantage of 'all you can eat' riblets or chicken tenders, serve with fries and coleslaw. Since I wanted both meats, our waitress Kiara, brought me the ribs and immediately ordered the chicken tenders. I got the best of both worlds. Thank you Kiara, for taking g such good care of us.Am very satisfied and FULL!!!Great choice for dinner, for sure.

Finally stopped in this place for lunch the other day. They have a ton of unique burgers and a craft beer menu a mile long. Over all everything was very good but a little pricy. Will definitely return but too often at their prices.

Red Robin America's Gourmet Burgers and Spirits

Reviewed By GarwoodFam

Red Robin is a family favorite. The variety of burgers are awesome. They offer special recipe burgers or you can build your own burger. I'm really simple with just bacon, cheddar cheese and mayo with lettuce. My husband switches from a plain burger to a specialty burger, it depends on how he feels. My son gets the kids pizza on garlic bread or chicken tenders. All the meals come with bottomless steak fries which are seasoned perfectly. The onion ring tower is good as well as the freckled lemonade. It's a great family resturant. The service is good. The resturant is clean. The prices are reasonable. Stopped in for a few drinks Saturday night around 7:30. The place was pretty busy but we were seated quickly. Very social, loud atmosphere. Lots of televisions with several different sporting events which was good. They have Keno too which is always a plus for us. Drinks were reasonably priced, maybe a tad on high side, but didn't mind since atmosphere is nice and service is always great. Will be back again. Great stop for food and drink!

Hats off to Alecia, our waitress, at our impromptu evening at Baraboo. We are now west siders so it isn't often we can gather friends for a fun evening on the east side. The six of us ate a variety of entrees - Chicken Marsala, he said it was a wonderful sauce and seasoned chicken. Burgers: probably 3 of us: Applewood Burger w/Sweet Potato Fries -- absolutely wonderful even though it wasn't as rare as I would have liked it. Rib Rave had to be good because the pile of bones was as clean as a whistle. My only concern: I wish there was a way to lower the crowd noise. It did make it difficult to hear each other (group of 6)
